STUNNING GRADE II LISTED BARN CONVERSION, LARGE LUXURY HOME WITH GARDEN

Leominster Barn Rental Photos and Description

6 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom Luxury Grade II Listed Barn Conversion

******* Ask us about midweek breaks from Monday to Friday. As low as £890 for 4 nights *******

Set in the North Herefordshire hamlet of Brierley, the barn is a spacious self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 10 adults (or 12 with The Lodge) plus up to 4 children, offering a stunning large child friendly venue for family celebrations, birthdays, anniversaries, reunions and group holidays.

The conversion of the barn has been completed to the highest standard and includes under-floor heating throughout the property. It is part of a large Grade II listed barn that adjoins the Cottage where the owners reside with their young family. The beautifully restored oak framed barn in the Heart of England, provides you with all the comforts of contemporary and environmentally friendly country living.

The border county of Herefordshire is steeped in history and legend. You will find castles and houses, gardens and farms which have changed very little over the centuries. You will find a decidedly slower pace of life here - the ideal start to a relaxing rural escape!

When we say that the barn can accommodate 14 guests, it’s not at a squeeze. With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, expansive communal rooms and 3/4 acre of grounds, even at capacity, it’s still a luxurious and relaxing stay.

Each and every room has been finished to the very highest standards. In fact the barn is the byword for understated elegance. No detail has been forgotten, but you can find out more about exactly what awaits in the following pages.

The Lodge is proving very popular for Grandparents to stay and enjoy a quiet nights rest away from the younger ones in the Barn and then joining the rest of the family just in time for breakfast and the days activities!

As parents of young twins we fully appreciate the luxury of having a well deserved break. Trying to find a suitable place, remembering to pack everything (always seemed to need the same amount whether for one night or 2 weeks!) then squeezing everything into the car, it became a military manouerve!

With this in mind we have put together a 'family pack' to help make your break enjoyable from the outset with travelling being made that little bit easier and lighter. ...Twins are especially welcome

This allows close supervision during the day whilst in the kitchen and at night the doors can be closed for relaxation and dining!

The ground floor accommodates the open plan living and dining areas creating a perfect balance of privacy and togetherness. The dining area can seat up to 14 guests making it ideal for celebratory dinners for family and friends.

The expansive living room boasts relaxed seating and a 50” flat screen TV making it the perfect room for more relaxed entertaining, especially with its wood-burning stove in the winter. Additionally, the family room is ideal for playing board games, the piano or relaxing with a good book.

Adjacent to the dining area is the playroom where you can keep an eye on the younger ones whilst enjoying the company of others. This also features a flat screen TV, DVD player and Playstation 2 with a selection of games for the children and the older guests too!

Guestbook comments from the manager
The barn has been an ideal place for our family celebration. To celebrate 43 years of a wonderful marriage we have been able to share it with our two "children" and their five children - our grandchildren. The accommodation, especially the Play Room, was wonderful for a 6 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old twins and one 8 month old baby. Couldn't have wanted a more comfortable temporary home, Adam (brilliant conversion) and Sarah's welcome so warm. Thank you very much.

FABULOUS!

  • 5 of 5
We had a fabulous weekend in the beautiful Serafina barn. We were blown away by the spacious kitchen, two lounges and even a playroom and laundry downstairs and the comfortable bedrooms upstairs. The barn had been beautifully decorated in a modern but country style and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We had more than enough space for 12 adults and two toddlers and it could easily take more children. We especially loved the big dining room table and the underfloor heating.

We looked everywhere for somewhere affordable but not old fashioned and poky for our precious weekend away and the barn more than delivered. We will definitely be back - not sure that anywhere else will live up to it!

FANTASTIC

  • 5 of 5
The owners of this barn were superb. We had booked to stay on a weekend when the weather was treacherous, snow throughout the country. We were a group of 5 couples/families traveling from all around the country and the location was perfect for this. With the snow, we didn't think we'd make it safely sot he owners kindly moved us to the next available weekend.
The barn itself is magnificent. Superb living accommodation for a large group. Very tasteful.
Good walks nearby. A great retreat for a group of friends. We are considering another stay here next year.

The Heart of England / Peak District / Herefordshire region

The border county of Herefordshire is steeped in history and legend. You will find castles and houses, gardens and farms which have changed very little over the centuries. You will find a decidedly slower pace of life here - the ideal start to a relaxing rural escape!

The Leominster / Brierley area

The barn provides an excellent base for exploring the unspoilt Herefordshire landscape. Occupying a quiet, yet accessible rural location just 5mins away is the Queenswood Country Park and the beautiful Hampton Court Castle and Gardens. Hops are still grown locally - check out the beer from the Wye Valley Brewery! The barn lies close to the Mortimer Trail and Offa's Dyke Path, three National Trust properties and numerous award-winning pubs (one with Michelin stars). The market town of Leominster is only 2 miles away and the cathedral city of Hereford, home of the Mappa Mundi is 12 miles distant. Ludlow and its castle are perched on a cliff above the picturesque River Teme in south Shropshire 13 miles away, the town breathes history at every turn. It is renowned for it's food and drink and there are no fewer than seven restaurants in or near Ludlow with entries in the current Michelin guide to hotels and restaurants in Britain Beyond, Wales beckons. The Brecon Beacons and the Elan Valley are all within striking distance and well worth a visit.
