This home is over 2600 sq ft, with room to spread out! It has a large, comfortable living room with pull-out sofa, satellite TV and DVD player. A large built-in bookshelf is loaded with books, including some children's books, puzzles, and games. The half-bath is accessible from den/living room area. It is a very spacious house with enough room for 6-8 people to relax comfortably. You don't have to worry about being on top of each other on a rainy day.
The kitchen is large enough for several cooks, and has a 4-burner professional-grade stove/oven. New refrigerator, dishwasher, washer & dryer.

The sound of the waterfall in the water garden is tranquil & soothing; one of the few glacial rocks on Nantucket is incorporated into the wall of the pond.
Large, inviting bedrooms:
The first-floor master bedroom has bathroom with shower and soaking tub en-suite.
The second floor has 2 large bedrooms, one with queen-sized bed and sitting area, one with 2 twin beds. Shared bath adjoins the two bedrooms. Window fans in each bedroom.
The entire house has wide pine floors. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, with beautiful stencilling in most rooms. Large front yard with beautiful gardens. Sunset views from back deck, with great star-gazing opportunities at night. About 1/2 mile from Maria Mitchell observatory on Milk St.
Ample parking. Nice child-friendly neighborhood. The street is not a thru-street.
Getting Around:
NRTA shuttle can be picked up right on the edge of the neighborhood (Miacomet Loop Shuttle).
Other shuttles can be picked up in town to head out to Sconset and see the rose-covered cottages, out to Surfside to spend the day at the beach, or out to Madaket to check out the surf-casters and beach goers. In-town shopping is great! Check out the Whaling Museum, or Nantucket's Oldest House. Visit the Old Mill, about 1/2 mile away. If you want to avoid downtown, plenty of shopping is available around the Stop & Shop Plaza in the middle of the island, also about 1/2 mile from the house.
