The “Torre” is a 16th construction century originally built to keep watch over the Val di Chiana and Tresa, which was then on the border of the Pontifical State. Restored in 1999, faithfully respecting its structure and materials, the three-storey building has a surface area of 250 sq.m, which can accommodate 6 to 8 people.

Halfway between Chiusi and Città della Pieve, the “Torre” is a 16th construction century originally built to keep watch over the Val di Chiana and Tresa, which was then on the border of the Pontifical State. Travel eastwards to visit the towns of Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Gubbio and Spoleto. To the west there is Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, the harmonious Chianti, the uncontaminated Val d'Orcia, San Gimignano, the charm of Crete Senesi, Volterra and Maremma. It is situated between green Umbria and old, noble Tuscany, two regions that have lovingly preserved the traditions that can still be seen and felt when walking along the narrow lanes of their medieval villages. Here one can sample the best that both the Tuscany and Umbria cuisines have to offer, with simple but tasty dishes, an excellent example of the Mediterranean diet, where olive oil reigns supreme. Some of Italy's best wines, now known all over the world, are produced here.
