Wooded setting with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan from all rooms. Unique architect designed four level home with three sides of ten foot tall windows provides a feeling of living in the trees soaring above sparkling Lake Michigan. Open contemporary feel with warm wood character. Three decks for relaxation. Located just south of protected Nature Conservancy land with miles of unspoiled beach and forest to explore.

Access to no-bluff sugar-sand beach and sandy-bottomed Lake Michigan water is via 300 foot wide semi-private access across the quiet dead end dirt road. Location on a peninsula of land between Lake Michigan and Portage Lake means Portage Lake access and dock as well as deep water channel and pier are short walks away. Enjoy both Lake Michigan and Portage Lake. House located up on a hill, with great views; up a 60-some step stairway from the drive/parking area. Quiet Woods, Spectacular Beaches: Enjoy the natural beauty and solitude in an unparalleled setting. Enjoy miles of uncrowded beach. The house is perched on a wooded dune, up a 60 step stairway from the driveway parking, providing spectacular views over Lake Michigan.

Visit antique shops and tour the National Historic Landmark former cross Great Lake car ferry in Manistee. Play at the Little River Casino or go fruit or vegetable picking at nearby farms. Golf at several nearby dramatic courses, such as Arcadia Bluffs. Enjoy the natural springs in Onekama's Park or eat at the Blue Slipper. Spend the day at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore 40 or so miles north. The list is endless!

Visit the historic town of Manistee 15 miles south or lovely Frankfort, the gateway to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, 20 miles to the north. Golf at nearby Manistee National, Arcadia Bluffs, and Crystal Mountain golf courses, cross country and downhill ski at Crystal Mountain, enjoy concerts at Interlochen Music Center and events in Traverse City. See a double feature family movie at the historic Cherry Bowl Drive-in theater near Honor or see a play at Manistee's historic Ramsdell Theater. Hike, bike and kayak with rentals in nearby Manistee and Beulah. Walk down to the historic Portage Point Inn for dinner, to rent a bike or jet ski, to climb Angel dune or go on a fishing charter cruise. Fish off the pier. Take a scenic airplane coastal tour from Manistee Blacker airport.
