Very nice location....

We very much enjoyed our stay on Arlington Pond. The house was great--everything you need, neat as a pin, very clean. Ylenka and her husband were extremely accomodating. Having air conditioning was certainly a plus, it was HOT a few days that we were there. And the waterfront....very nice. I grew up visiting family on Arlington Pond, and it is very difficult to find a beachfront area without a lot of lake "muck" on the bottom. This beach was clean and the sand at the bottom of the lake was prestine. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is the smell of the tap water. All the homes on this side of the lake use well water. Some of the wells have a bad sulfer smell to them. Ylenka and Boris have major filters and were upfront about everything.....but it was a pretty strong smell, especially in the hot shower. But we got over it, we survived and the water was not contaminated or anything. This is a common thing with wells on the lake, so no big deal. But something to be aware of if that kind of thing bothers you. However, everything else was wonderful. Thank you Ylenka and Boris for a great place to stay and a great trip.
