Fabulous Menemsha location. Short walk to the village for sunsets & ice cream. This 3 bedroom classic shingled summer house has been completely renovated & professionally decorated . Features include 2 1/2 newly tiled baths, pickled hardwood floors & a spacious & fully equipped gourmet eat-in kitchen & family room which opens onto a large, sunny, wooden deck. The three bedrooms come fully furnished with new beds & linens and are comfortable, bright & airy. The freshly refurbished dining room seats eight. Everything is bright, new & spotlessly clean! Bike or walk to Chilmark Community Center, the library & post office, or Chilmark General Store. Lucy Vincent, Menemsha & Squibnocket beaches are all moments away. You'll hear the bell buoys from the harbor at night!

The Chilmark Community Center runs programs for children & teens all summer long: tennis, basketball, dance, arts, & sailing lessons can be signed up for at the center. Lucy Vincent Beach less than a mile away. Hi9storic Menemsha fishing village is one of the most beautiful settings on Martha's Vineyard. Each evening people come to buy fresh fish at the dockside fish markets & watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean. There is an ice cream stand & clam shack right at Menemsha Bight where you can enjoy your food & watch the tide rush by. Beautiful, winding, Chilmark country roads are great for biking and we're close by the bike ferry to Gay Head. Spin or fly fishing from shore is outstanding & paths through nearby conservation property lead right to the beach. Bring a rod!

This was our 3rd year in Menemsha and the nicest vacation home we have stayed in. Very fair price; great layout; clean and spacious; wonderful yard (even with wild turkeys and roosters!) and a sunny deck for afternoon lounging. Great location and a nice walk to and from beach. Owners were very gracious and available. Highly recommended except for last 2 weeks in June when we plan to rent it again!
Notable attributes which made our stay very homey - hot outdoor shower, wonderful sound to windchimes, bright and airy decor, and stocked cabinets. Extra special vacation home.
