This is a bright, clean, privately owned apartment in the very centre of central London with the owners living close by. This allows us to keep our prices low but our standards high. This apartment is in the heart of London but is surrounded by private, shared prize-winning gardens and within a gated development, a real oasis in the lively bustle of the city. The apartment is walking distance of Hyde Park and many Central London places of interest including Oxford Street, Bond Street and West End shops, theatres, cinemas, museums, galleries and historic attractions. This ground floor flat has been newly modernised and contains everything found in a comfortable home. It is wheelchair accessible and the bedroom and bathroom doors have been enlarged for easy access. Public transport is nearby and plentiful with excellent links to most parts of the capital. We regret that we are unable to offer this pleasant, clean, apartment to smokers as it creates too much work to wash all the furnish

Within a few minutes walk of the apartment there can be found all kinds of local shops including laundrette, dry cleaners, chemists, and all- night food shops. The flat is well served by restaurants from snacks to haute cuisine, from Italian to the best Middle Eastern and Indian delicacies. This is a truly Central London location with shops and restaurants to reflect this. Hyde park is very close by for picnics and boating on the Serpentine. A twenty to thirty minute walk will reach Buckingham Palace, Harrods, the museums, Piccadilly Circus and theatreland etc.

Transport links.: By tube.. 4 mins walk from Marble Arch station on the Central Line. By Bus....Buses to most parts of London are within a few minutes walk. This is well located for London Transport. By Taxi...Black cabs pass the location frequently. By train.. 10 mins walk or short taxi or bus ride from Paddington Station ( Heathrow Express and trains to Oxford, Bath Bristol, Cornwall Wales and the West.). 10 mins ride from Victoria Station ( Gatwick Express, and trains to Brighton and the South.) 15 mins ride to Kings Cross Station for trains to Scotland and the North of England. 15 mins ride to St. Pancras Station for trains to Paris and Europe via the Channel tunnel.

The flat is centrally located, as described, and transport could not have been more convenient. London has a fabulous transport system, we took buses everywhere. Food shopping, pubs, Odeon movie theather, pharmacy are all around the corner or a few blocks away. Very quiet, safe and comfortable environment. Kitchen is sufficient for light meal preparations. Our most sincere gratitude to Rima Maria and her brother for making us feel at home. And yes, a former Prime Minister lives just around the corner!

We are a family of 4 (two adults and two little boys) and we have been in London in April. We stayed in the apartment one week. The host was really nice and welcoming and the apartment was clean, confortable and really quiet (!). After the long walks during the days when we visited the London attractions we could find our peace and rest in the perfect place. The flat has nice and confortable furniture, well designed and ingenious (congratulations to John). The location is absolutely fantastic (in the heart of London) with public transportation and good stores near by. We would definetely recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet location in the center of London.

L'appartement est parfaitement situé, dans une résidence extrêmement calme et bien entretenue. Très fonctionnel et si proche des bus, métro, d'hyde park et d'oxford street ! c'est le lieu idéal pour loger au coeur de londres. Une mention spéciale aux propriétaires, très accueillants et sympathiques. A recommander sans hésitation.

Quiet + secure + pretty + convenient = PERFECT!

We enjoyed a wonderful 5-day stay here in June 2008. The apartment is cozy, but sleeps 3 easily. Large double bed/sofa in main room is very comfortable. Location can't be beat -- easy walk to Marble Arch tube and buses; grocery and laundry nearby. The building is very quiet, and surrounded by a private garden -- truly an oasis right in the heart of London. Excellent area (Tony Blair lives close by). Heavily Middle Eastern area, with loads of great restaurants. Owner is wonderful, and very easy to work with. Highly recommended!
