'Shady Maples' is located accross from Frenchman's Bay in the village of Hull's Cove. This charming cottage is fully equipped for all your vacation needs. It has one bedroom, a full size bath, livingroom with full size sofa sleeper and a fully equipped kitchen. Our cottage is conveniently located within walking distance to entrance of Acadia National Park and 2 miles to downtown Bar Harbor.

From our cottage you can enjoy an early morning walk along the cove beach or easily access the many carriage paths and hiking trails of Acadia National Park. You may wish to take advantage of the free bus service 'Island Explorer' and visit the other villages here on Mount Desert Island or possibly enjoy a sunset cruise in Frenchman's Bay aboard the Natalie Todd. Spend a day browsing the many gift shops and galleries and enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of the fine restaurants.

The week we stayed was most enjoyable. Everything we wanted was at hand. This is a well furnished well maintained true home away from home.

Nancy is a most personable hostess and has created a place that is a delight to be at. Inside and outside are comfortable and exactly as described in the listing information.

Would certainly return and stay again....but next time for more than just a week!
