Guestbook comments from the manager
Hi Martha, We've been back in Pennsylvania for about a week and a half now, and we still miss your home! Especially the view from the living room and porch! All of us (dog included!), thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your home and Emerald Isle in general. Your home was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. The weather was perfect. We saw dolphins just about every day. We loved Rucker Johns - ate there twice actually. We went to Beaufort (your suggestion also) and loved it there (lots of dog friendly restaurants, too!). Everyone on the island was so friendly. And oh, that view!
I wanted to thank you for sharing your home with us and let you know what a wonderful time we all had!
My name is Mark Storie. I reside in New Bern, NC, and have been a fan of North Carolina's Crystal Coast since I was 10.
In my youth, my Father was the Minister of St Andrews Episcopal Church in Morehead City. I always loved this area, and when I discovered this house, I immediately fell in love. This comfortable cottage wraps around you... This home, and this place, are very special.
Only that IT'S on the ocean! You can literally throw a rock to the edge of the surf at high tide from the new ocean view deck. The south facing view provides sun drenched days, and star filled nights. The home was recently upgraded with a new, larger ocean view deck, a new integrated sound system both indoors and out. Plus, new flat screens TV's in every bed room, new hard wood floors, and accent rugs. OK. Does any of this really qualify as unique? :) Why don't you spend a week here, and let me know if what you discover is 'unique'?
