This property is located in the peaceful tree lined community of the Villas of Bethany West. It has a nice private deck, outside shower, upgraded furnishings inside including 3 color TVs - one of which is a HDTV - with cable, There are 3 DVD players and a VCR, stereo system, numerous games and books, ceiling fans in bedrooms and family room, queen bed in the master bedroom, queen sleep sofa and rollaway bed, 2 single beds in the second bedroom, 2 full baths, heavy duty washer and dryer, central AC, wood burning fireplace, breakfast bar, hardwood flooring and a beautiful front porch which captures the morning sun. The best part of all - it's just a 10 minute walk to the beach!
About Stephen Haag

I have lived in Maryland all my life. I grew up in Baltimore and went to college in western MD at Frostburg University. I bought the beach house in 2004 as a personal getaway and rental. Bethany Beach really attracted my eye because of its laid back - family atmosphere. It's a great town.

Why Stephen Haag chose Bethany Beach

It's in a great beach community with a small town feel - but near larger beach resorts of Rehobeth and Ocean City. It is very close to the boardwallk and all the downtown shops and restaurants.

What makes this villa unique

For being right in town - it is a very private community. I love the open spaces within the community. There is also an excellent swimming pool within 2 blocks of the house. The house is in close proximity to all that Bethany Beach has to offer.

The community is beautifully maintained and contains a lovely outdoor pool and tennis courts. The housing units are well spaced and the feeling of privacy is unmistakable. Each grouping of homes contains only 4 units! Go for a quiet walk along the loop road and stop at the community pond. You may even see a blue heron or an egret on your journey. However, It is only a short walk to fine restaurants, shops, and of course, the beach. It is a 10 minute walk to the beach or take the beach shuttle which runs through the community every half hour during the summer. This villa is located close to the town center of Bethany and the boardwalk (1/2 mile). There is a bandstand at the center of the boardwalk which offers free concerts every evening during the summer. You literally have the best of both worlds at this villa, privacy within the community and yet so very close to all the activities that Bethany Beach has to offer.

Great Place to Stay!! Family Friendly!!

This was our second trip to Bethany Beach and the first at this property. I was very surprised by the villa it looked just like the pictures and the price is very reasonable. We were right in the middle of everything. My girls enjoyed riding the trolley to the beach as well as the pool. The owner, Steve, also has a Residential Parking Permit available for your use. This was great for the days we wanted to take more items to the beach. We will be contacting him for our next Bethany Beach Vacation.

WONDERFUL location, and a BARGAIN

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It's an incredible bargain for Bethany, and is a very easy, convenient walk to the beach and town. But we also found plenty to do right near the house, as the villas have a pool, which always comes in handy as an alternative to the beach. The house is well maintained and thoughtfully-stocked. Most of all, the owner was incredibly solicitous, fair, prompt, responsive to our concerns, and very eager to ensure that we had a lovely vacation.

We would *highly* recommend this option. It's a steal.
