Great yard...but could use some TLC

We rented this house because of the great pet policy and the fact it has four bedrooms.
The pros:
- HUGE fenced backyard and nice patio. Great yard for a dog to run around in and enjoy the Cape!
- The Central location was incredible. A few blocks walk to A-House, the Gifford House, and Commercial Street.
- Quiet side street with very little traffic
The cons:
- The kitchen is almost unusable due to layout. The sink is on the OTHER side of the counter, where it's difficult to reach and use.
- The finishes of the home (linens, furniture, etc) were substandard for the amount charged for the week. For example, the kitchen contained gadgets that seemed worn/old, the linens on our bed were bleached out, the grill was a bit outdated and uncared for, and the mattress pad was burned from the dryer.
- The furniture was worn/dated, and some the beds were quite crooked and uncomfortable.
- Although the place was broom cleaned, many of the windows could have been washed, and screens replaced.
- There's no window A/C in the main living area. Although we didn't need A/C for the most part, this is come to be expected in a rental in Provincetown.
- The television is substandard: a 19" television bought at the local discount store is not pleasant when it's raining outside and there's little to do in Ptown.
In general we enjoyed the home, but we do feel that for the amount charged simple upgrades would mean a lot. The home just seemed worn out for the amount we paid.
