Gloucester - Annisquam House Rental Photos and Description
4 Bedroom, 2 Full Bathrooms, sleeps 12
This is a true beach lover's paradise! Cliff Road overlooks the two most outstanding beaches on the North Shore: Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach, both of which can be reached from this home, simply by walking down the hill. It's one of the few roads that offers direct access to the beach, which means that there is no battling with heavy traffic or paying huge parking fees.
The main floor of the home is wood-paneled, wide-open, and overlooks the tributaries that feed the Atlantic Ocean- wait until you see the sunsets! The mornings in the landscaped backyard are just as glorious: you can sit out in the gazebo with your coffee and listen to the sound of the surf and an orchestra of songbirds. The backyard is also a perfect place to entertain after a long day of boating, swimming, fishing, or any other of the many activities that Gloucester offers.
The house ash two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the first floor and two bedrooms and a full bath on the third floor, with the second floor serving as the main living area. The set-up allows for privacy between different families or the older and younger generations.
If you're looking for a great home to entertain extended family or share with another family, look no further. This house was designed by a family with other families in mind: a great mix of functionality, beauty, and safety.
Please note: while the house is kid friendly, it is not baby-proof.
*An adjoining owner's unit (separate entrances) is used during the summer.*

Thanks Russell and Ali we had an absolutely wonderful time staying at your beach house. Good Harbor beach is one of our favorites. The weather as you know was unseasonable warm and made for even better days at the beach. The house as always was a great place to hang out and entertain.
See you again next year.
A transplant to Massachusetts, I first came to Gloucester on a father/son fishing trip with the Yankee Fleet. In 2003, I had the opportunity to move here for a job, and - initially - I came here for the fishing, mountain biking, and technology, but I stayed because I met my wife. After more than ten years here, I still think this area is one of the greatest areas in the country for outdoor activities and recreation.
