Beechwood...This ski house is truly unique. It is one of the very few slope side homes at Loon. Go right from the house and through the glade to the Brookway Trail. You can sit by the fireplace in the living room and watch them ski by. Sunset and sunrise are amazing from the kitchen, living room and the loft. The large family room has the second fireplace. There is a spacious 2 car garage. Our guests usually use words like amazing when we speak with them after their stay. We have many repeat guests. Book early as popular times go fast. Season rentals are not available. No exceptions!!!

Location: Loon Mountain Area < New Hampshire < USA

Nearest Airport: Manchester at 75 Miles
Enjoy the slopeside accommodations. The house is on the Brookway Trail. It is a short walk or drive to the Mountain Club. It has a full restaurant and pub. There is also a spa and health club. In the warmer weather Clarks Trading Post and the Hobo Railroad are 10 minutes away. Don't forget you are on the Kancamangus Highway and you are on the edge of the Pemigawassett Wilderness Region. There are a number of golf courses in the area. The Pemigawassett River is within walking distance. There really is too much to mention; the Flume, Mt Lafayette, Cannon Mtn, Lost River, Owl's Nest., The Dinner Train and much much more. Or just hike, bike, snowshoe or cross-country the trails right from the house.

Best of Both Worlds: House is directly on Loon Mountain Ski Resort yet high enough it directly borders the National Forest. Highest house off Brookway trail. See lights twinkle below of base and village. Barely see or hear a car drive by. Good chance you'll see a fox or a bear or a deer. Certainly you'll see some skiiers now and again skiing out of bounds in your own back yard and definitely some snow cats grooming out the trails, not to mention the skiiers nearing the end of their runs of Brookway and BearClaw. You will feel you are seeing and experiencing your own private Loon from the inside. Choose to join in the fun or stay home and watch it from above.

Horseback Riding At Loon at Your Back Door: Loon Mountain's Brand New Equestrian Center open through end of October - within walking distance at bottom of our hill between Brookway and Bear Claw trails.

No driving parking or shuttle needed to ski !: What makes this house special is location location location. No Driving, no parking, no walking across streets or parking lots. No waiting for shuttles. Great home for large groups - Super summer retreat

We stayed at this wonderful property for a week's vacation with the extended family. It so exceded our expectations!

With 6 bedrooms, pull out sofas and 3 levels of living space, we never felt cramped. The little kids watched DVD's at night in the lower level, while the big kids watched the 64" HDTV in the spacious living room. Most nights the parents relaxed in the family room off the kitchen or played cards into the night on the huge deck.

Morning coffee was so relaxing on the west facing deck. They have an absolutely beautiful view of the mountains.
You can walk right out to the Bear Claw and Brockway trails from the back door. Pass over the foot bridge that gets you across the brook and you're on Loon Mountain.

The owner is easy to deal with. Brand new appliances and granite countertops in the well stocked main kitchen. There are place settings, towels and utensils for 18+.

The Mountain Club at Loon has a great spa and fitness center a short walk down the street from the house. We negotiated a weekly membership for everyone and had the weight room, cardio room, indoor/outdoor pools, racquetball court and spa right there at our disposal.
Loon also offers horseback riding, climbing walls, bungey jumping trampolines, bike rentals, gondola rides to the top of the mountain and the Pemi River.

Lincoln and Woodstock have a host of restaurants and shopping. Don't miss the Zip Line touring!!

Very nice ski house

I happened across this house at the last minute when a previously rented property became unavailable. I needed a large house for a youth group ski retreat. The owner was very gracious and accommodating. The house was large with plenty of bed and bath space for our group. It was located right at Loon mountain which made it extra easy for us. We did find that the snow was too deep with too many trees and too much steepness to try and ski to/from the house to the trails, but a quick 2 minute drive and we were at the base of the mountain. The house was clean and comfortable. The large TV room with fireplace was just right for our nightly gatherings. The kitchen was well stocked. We had room to park 2 trucks, a van and a SUV plus a utility trailer and we had use of the 2 car garage. I would certainly consider returning and would recommend this house to rent. Loon is also a great place to ski for groups. They provided a very good pizza party with private room and snow tubing for us our first night. Snow/ski conditions were awesome. And the White Mtn Adaptive ski program was tremendous. Our adaptive skier had the time of her life and was able to ski the whole mountain with great instructors. I will certainly return to Loon and this slopeside rental property.
