Brewster Vacation Rental condo

Very nicely decorated condo with all you need to feel at home. Friendly and helpful owner who returned our deposit very promptly. Condo was extremely clean for our stay--condo shows pride of ownership--like staying in a nice home, not just a rental. Fully air conditioned, kitchen stocked with cooking and dining needs (utensils, plates, pans, etc.), sheets and towels provided. Very nice resort with clean pools and lovely grounds and friendly staff. Lots to do in Brewster and surrounding towns. We had a great experience overall!

This condo was just like the website photos & description. It was immaculate. The furniture and mattresses were very comfortable - the owners obviously take pride in their unit and it felt like a home, not just a rental unit. The condo was well equipped - you just need to bring in your own food, drinks & food wraps (baggies, foil, etc.). The A/C units did a great job and there were ceiling fans as well. The top floor, corner location was extremely quiet and very convenient to the indoor & outdoor pool complex. As the owner states, there is no internet in the condo itself - you have to go to the pool complex in order to access email or the web. Brewster is a tough location for Verizon cell service. We found one corner of the condo received a cell signal but inside a restaurant or shop in Brewster, no signal. It would be a good idea to give out the condo's landline in case of an emergency to family members back home. The owner was very easy to deal with and was extremely prompt at refunding our security deposit. Ocean's Edge is lovely. It is a gated community with guard houses at the 2 entrances. The landscaping is impressive and very well maintained. There are miles (literally) of sidewalks within the resort and a free shuttle to take you within the resort if you don't want to walk or drive. We used the pools and hot tubs as well as the volleyball court - all in pristine condition. They offer poolside food (hot dogs, nachos, etc.) or you can bring your own. Pool towels are provided. Ocean's Edge is very convenient to the bay beaches & restaurants. There is a convenience store diagonally opposite the 6A entrance. We loved JTs Restaurant right at the 6A entrance to the resort - amazing scampi. We found Brewster to be a great central location - bay beaches within a mile, 10 minutes to the National Seashore in Orleans, 10 minutes or less to Harwich for movies, large grocery chain, etc. Chatham's charming downtown & its photogenic seals, lighthouse & coast are about 15 minutes from the condo. We found the Monday-Friday rental ideal as we don't enjoy the heavy weekend traffic on the Cape, although Brewster does seem much quieter than other sections (Hyannis, Yarmouth, etc.). If you like the hustle & bustle, you can find it within a short drive or you can stay put in Brewster and enjoy its tranquility.

This one bedroom unit has a pull down bed in the living area and is a perfect size for a small family or two couples. It was clean, quite and nicely decorated. The bike trail runs through the area and is a great way to see the Cape. With a central cape Brewster location you are able to make the drive to the upper and lower cape making for a great vacation. The owners were great to deal with and provided some little extras such as local information, small bathroom items, sheets/towels and more. With pool passes, you can choose from several pool options including one right across the street.
