About Steve Snow

We are a family of four that look to provide everything we want when we are on vacation! Thanks!

Steve Snow purchased this house in 2004

Why Steve Snow chose Harwich - Harwichport

We fell in love with this house and have put our hearts into renovating it. Our daughter already has her wedding planned here!

What makes this house unique

When we were walking through the house with the previous owner Kim, who was awesome, we stopped on the back staircase and looked at each other and said we have to figure out how to buy this place. And Kim, who was selling the house by owner accepted our offer! We love coming down and spending time down here with our family and friends. We feel like we were lucky to find 'Seawillows', and can't wait to be able to spend more time down here!

Guestbook comments from the owner

I just wanted to take the time to let you know what an incredible time we had at the "Sea Willows" cottage. We have been heading to the Cape for about 12 years now, and typically we rent 3 separate cottages for our 3 families. It was nice, but not always convenient, especially with little ones how need to get to bed early. Having everyone under one roof made for such an easy time for all! The grown-ups had their place to relax at the end of the day, the kids had theirs (with more toys than they knew what to do with), and no one had to leave the fun early to take a little one to bed!

Having all the amenities there was especially nice; it definitely made the packing easier! And the kitchen was much more roomier than the picture led on. In fact, the entire cottage was much bigger than we expected.

So THANKS! again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely home for family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Steve and Maura's Cape Cod home. We had a family of four, plus both sets of in-laws, so 8 people in all, and there was plenty of space for everyone. Their home was wonderfully taken care of, with lovely New England decorations. The kitchen was just redone, and is beautiful. Our girls absolutely loved the "surf room" which had wonderful light streaming in. The various sitting rooms gave everyone plenty of space to either be together or have time apart. We even did a BBQ dinner one night on the grill. My girls also had so much fun playing wiffle ball with their grandparents (one of the many toys/games available). Steve and Maura were very helpful before and during our trip, giving us suggestions on things to do/see in the area. The location was also very convenient, centrally located to scenic towns both west and northeast of Harwich, and close to Star Supermarket and a small organic food market. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone else visiting the area.

Beautiful weekend for a wedding.

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at this home, it was a quick trip for five couples to attend a friends wedding. The home was cozy and had plenty of space for us all to get ready and spend quality time together. Steve is an amazing host, very open with communication before our stay. I couldn't say enough kind words to describe our interactions. Our group is already discussing our next trip :)

Wonderful house for families with children

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our mini family reunion with our 3 children, spouses, and 5 grandchildren, ages 7 and under! Everything we could want for the grandchildren was provided - double stroller, high chairs, cribs, toddler beds, playroom, toys, books, outdoor slides, and a dirt hole to dig in. This roomy house provided many areas for either solitude or family games. Plus the ample grounds were perfect for outdoor games or just sitting and watching everyone have fun. The hammock was a great hit with the kids. We were able to walk to a nice beach and convenient stores were nearby.

The owners, were wonderful to deal with throughout the entire rental process. They always responded quickly to all of my endless questions via email. There was a problem with the wifi when we arrived, but they took care of that right away. It was great to actually meet this very accommodating couple.

Our family will DEFINITELY rent this house again!

Our family had such an amazing time! The house is beautifully updated & comfortable. The designer linens & towels were a bonus. Was impressed with all the "extras" that you had - high chair, crib, grill, beach toys, right down to plenty of wine openers & egg cups! The yard & patio area were perfect for our children to play, dance and sing. Thank you. We will definitely be back to the Willows!!

4th of July Favorite

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter and I spent an awesome 4th of July vacation at this great property. The yard is beautiful and my daughter loves the play area as well as the outdoor fires we enjoyed every night. One of my favorites is the great little Irish pub within walking distance. This is a great family vacation.

Our summer vacation at this large charming home could not have been better. The layout of the property was perfect for our large, age diverse family. We vacationed for 10 days with our 70+year old parents as well as a great Aunt, My Sister,Brother,Sister and Brother in laws and 9 children ranging in age from 6-24. The adults and younger kids set up in the main house which was very charming and sparkling clean. There was tons of room to spread out. There was a modern washer and dryer which was much appreciated with 9 kids in tow.The kitchen was modern, spacious and very well stocked making meal prep a breeze. The large yard was perfect for bonfires,a lobster bake, and all of the kids. The kids could run around and noise was never an issue but,the best part was the separate renovated barn where all the older kids could get away from the adults. The "barn" is actually a very comfortable well equipped unit featuring a kitchen, bath, and plenty of sleeping area.It was close enough to keep any eye and ear on what the older kids were up to yet it gave them their own space.

The Mid Cape location was great close to all areas. We were there for 10 days and could have stayed another 10. I would highly recommend this property to anyone but especially a large group such as ours. Even the 16 year old admitted to having a wonderful time! We will definitely be back.

West Harwich is located in the mid-Cape area of Cape Cod on Nantucket Sound with miles of ocean and freshwater beaches. The Cape Cod Rail Trail for bicycling runs through the town, and there are well over 600 acres of open space and conservation lands for walking, jogging and birdwatching. Launch a kayak or boat around the corner from the house on the Herring River. Miniature golf, trampolines and go-go carts, are just minutes away, as are restaurants, day spas, summer stock, movie theaters, Cape Cod summer league baseball and great shopping. Wonderful public golf courses and tennis are close by. Harwich Port and its three gorgeous harbors and shops is just down the road.

Other Activities: wonderful crabbing on Herring River
