|Minimum Stay||7 nights|
Enjoy magnificent views of northeastern Lake George from a traditional Adirondack camp with a large screened-in porch. Relax and enjoy your meals inside, or out on the porch. The house has four bedrooms, wood paneling throughout, and accommodates a large family of swimmers, boaters, and hikers. There is an incredible feeling of peace and quiet, chipmunks and squirrels in the woods, fresh breezes off the mountain in the evening and gorgeous sunsets. The lake is only 60 yards away from the house.
The property is on a dead-end road, and it extends up the mountain in back of the house, across the road, down the grassy lawn to the lake. There is a cement dock on the waterfront, and a sandy beach is available a short walk down the road at the Ticonderoga public beach. The lake bottom is sandy at the dock. For larger groups, consider our adjacent property (Property Number 114133), a cottage with two bedrooms.
The house is at the northeastern end of Lake George, near the village of Ticonderoga. There is a public beach a short distance up the road (a nice walk), and a public boat launch further on. Ticonderoga is a small, but historic town that has a famous fort and other historic sites, as well as modern comforts, including shopping, restaurants and a public golf course. There is a ferry to Vermont a short drive away. The region has abundant hiking trails. The Lake George Village and Queensbury area, with its amusement parks, outlet malls and other attractions are at the southern end of the lake, nearly an hour away by car. Lake George is 36 miles long and has clean, clear water.
