Great Sacandaga Pines offer 5 private, clean and well maintained rental log cabins on or steps from our 600 linear feet of gently sloping sandy beach. The 6.5 acre property is located on the 27 mile long crysal clear Great Sacandaga Lake in the 6,000,000 acre Adirondack Park. Our 'Camp' is located on a naturally sandy, sheltered shoreline. All of the log cabins are decorated in knotty pine and feature all the amenities you and your family or group will need to have an enjoyable stay on one of the largest bodies of water in the Adirondacks. Family reunions and group gatherings are welcomed. Great Sacandaga Lake offers great fishing, swimming and wildlife viewing. Great Sacandaga Pines is located just over 30 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George Village and just over 3 hours from NY and Boston. Guests are welcome to enjoy campfires on the beach, volleyball, use of our 'fleet' of boats and use of our private and picturesque grounds
Real Adirondacks: We aim to provide our guests with a genuine Adirondack vacation in a safe, clean and comfortable environment. Most of our guests are return rentors.
Relax, swim, hike, fish, canoe, boat, visit Saratoga Springs and enjoy the horse races. Explore the Adirondack Trail at one end of the lake or whitewater raft on the other end of the lake. Go horseback riding; visit museums; antique shop or take the kids to 6 Flags Amusement Park. At our cabins you can be as active as you want or just relax on the beach and read.
Other Activities: Saratoga Springs and Lake George Village within 35 minutes.
Our favorite things to do include: Hike up Hadley Mountain (15 minutes away), go fishing from our beach, campfires on the beach, get ice cream at tastee freeze, sunset volleyball, do nothing and sit around, flashlight tag (kids) and boating and swimming.
There's a couple of fun restaurants - Lanzi's on the Lake and Sport Island Pub we really enjoy. At least once a summer we go to Saratoga Springs for some Hatties fried chicken and go to the races.
Golf: There are a couple of golfing options but we're usually to busy on the lake.
