Photos and Description of the Little Compton vacation house rental

We built this eleven room home we call The Mary Wilbor House in 1830 on our working family farm which has a private half-mile of ocean shore and beach, reached by the farm lane. The house has three large and three small bedrooms to accommodate ten. There are two bathrooms, one with a washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and a gas range. There is an outdoor shower, piano, three fireplaces, stone porch and a two-story childrens' playhouse.

Nearest Airport: Providence (PVD) at 40 Miles
Nearest Train: Providence at 38 Miles
Nearest Motorway: Rt 24/ Rt 77 at 12 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 0.5 Miles
Little Compton is a small peninsula town with a classic town commons, several beaches, two woodland parks, a harbor with fishing fleet and public boat ramp. Local fishing, canoeing and kayaking are excellent. Roads in the area are popular with cyclists. Little Compton and adjacent Tiverton, and Westport, Massachusetts are lively during the summer with a variety of cultural and recreational events. Newport and Providence are 30 miles distant.
