The house is designed to accentuate the natural setting with over sixty feet of panoramic windows, open plan living spaces, an eight skylight cathedral ceiling, breathtaking views from upper bedrooms, and a completely private sundeck overlooking the dunes, bay and unobstructed sky. A large outdoor mahagony wood sundeck (30' x 36') has a paronamic view of sand dune, Pilgrim Lake and bay water views prefect for a memorable wedding set up for once in your life time. Many successful wedding events have already been held on this location.
DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY LAYOUT:
The first floor has 7 steps down a terrace with 2 bedrooms (2 king beds), 1st full bath, and a large complete equipped kitchen, a TV / game room idea for kids use. The second floor has 7 steps climb to a deck, entry to the main entertainment area, an open plan garment kitchen, a large walk out deck overlooking the National Seashore Sand dune and view of the original first harbor, now called the Pilgrim Lake. One bedroom (queen bed) on the second floors, a large 2nd full bath with 2 sinks and 2 showers and all other bedrooms (all queen beds) on 3rd floor each has an individual view, and 3rd full bath with a rain shower. Additional outdoor 4th full bath is located next to the spa area. The first floor bedroom will not be rented separately if only a smaller group require 5 bedrooms.
UNIQUE LOCATION:
In the morning, watch the unobstructed sun rise over the dunes and Pilgrim Lake as the rays bathe the house in light. View the actual first landing of the Pilgrims when the Lake was actually a natural harbor. Bird watchers love the diversity of life around the property. A short walk brings you to the bay beach where, at low tide, the tidal pools and sand bars stretch out for hundreds of yards. Sunsets illuminate the sand dunes and bay to create the picturesque lighting that has made Provincetown artists famous. The property is on a major bird migration path where hundreds of sea gulls fly home from the sea during every sunset. The pink reflecting light on the birds are vividly magical and serene. On a full moon night over the bay, the reflection of the moon on the water is so romantic, fresh and quiet. You can see three of the seven active lighthouses on the cape. Billions of stars are visible in the clear night sky. The deck and spa are perfect places to enjoy these experience.
