'In 2002 my family purchased the home on Laurel St. We enjoyed the home for 5 years ourselves. In 2007 we decided to share it with others. We know you will enjoy the Laurel House as much as we have'.

The Laurel House is perfectly located for visitors to the Napa Valley. It is walking distance to down town and less than a mile from the Hwy for access to the rest of the Valley.
The Laurel House was built in 1920. It has all the charm and character of an original Craftsman house but also offers all the comforts and amenaties that modern technology can provide.
This house is amazing. We traveled with 2 other couples to relax in Napa. This house is so well equiped, comfortable and CHARMING!!! The linens were of the highest quality, kitchen well equiped and living room with fireplace was inviting and comfortable. My favorite was the view of the traquil and peaceful backyard from the french doors in the kitchen! It almost reminded me of Italy. This is a marvelous alternative to a hotel and the best way to fully enjoy Napa with friends is to rent the Laurel house!! We will definitely stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. House is exactly as pictured, clean, well take care of. Gas fireplace was a hit. Beautiful back patio. We used this as a home base for forays into the wine country- great to come back to after a day of tasting. Close to Oxbow Market which is amazing. We used Curtis and the car service, which was also a great day spent being spoiled. We would stay here again!
My family and I stayed for the week of Thanksgiving this year. Our first experience with VRBO. I will definitely do it again. Can't beat being in a home rather than a B&B or a hotel. Quiet and charming home. I could definitely live in this place. Excellent amenities and service. No problems. Would definitely recommend Laurel House to friends and family. Thanks......Lee
The house itself was great. It was very cozy, the kitchen is a great size with windows showing a pretty view of the back yard, and the bedrooms were a great size as well. I loved the trees and landscaping in the back yard. A nice oasis to enjoy a glass of wine and food.
My only issue is going into the rental agreement I had no idea there was a tenant that lived upstairs. Looking at the house you can tell its a 2 story home, but I didn't even think about it. It wasn't until we made the last payment for our stay and we received an email from the owner welcoming us, that I knew there was a tenant. There was no issue with this during our stay, the tenant was very quite and did not bother us. You couldn't even tell she was there. But I would of liked to have known there was a tenant when I first inquired about the property. If I knew this information in the beginning I would have rented another home. This is just my preference. When renting a vacation rental I like it to feel like its my home away from home, and all though it did...there was still that sense that just knowing someone was upstairs could see us every time we stepped out the front door. Due to that I am giving it 3 stars instead of 5.
Just a bit of advice, please tell renters this information going forward and not a few days before their stay.
I traveled with a group of friends for an extra long weekend in the Napa Valley and Laurel House was an excellent place for us to stay during our trip. The craftsmanship and charm of the house make it very inviting but it is also exceptionally clean, well-organized and well-cared for. Matt, the owner, was great to deal when arranging the stay (and private limo services through his Ride Around Napa tour business). He was responsive and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Laurel House and would definitely recommend it to others.
Laurel House is an excellent home in a great location. The pictures do not do justice to the decor and charm of the house. The backyard garden area is perfect for outside activities, including dining. The home is well furnished with enough space for multiple guests. I frequently rent house for vacations; Laurel House is one of the best accommodations that I have stayed in.
