Our vacation home has everything you could look for in a vacation home - a beautiful in ground pool, Air Conditioning (both upstairs BRs and the MBR), close to Old Silver Beach (5.1 miles), and a convenient, comfortable layout with plenty of room for everyone!
We believe we have thought of everything you will need to have a wonderful, memorable Cape Cod vacation.
There is a great, private back yard, with a large comfortable pool. You can also hang out on the deck and patio, & cook up some steaks on the gas grill for dining under the stars. We have several tables and many chairs. Two tables have umbrellas, too. There is also a picnic table in the backyard.
Our home has two living rooms and four bedrooms (and a 'bonus' fifth bedroom in the basement with two twin beds and private bath). Lots to love, including a newer kitchen, and a very friendly, open layout! Also, three full bathrooms, one on each floor (including the one in the basement). The basement bathroom is shower only - no tub. There is also a game room in the finished basement with a 6' x 3' pool table (slightly smaller than normal size).
New for 2011 - we replaced the carpet in the living room, hallway and MBR with pergo hardwood! We also changed the configuration of the living room and added a 42' flat screen TV over the fireplace. Wow, it looks great and is a very friendly layout!
Our home is conveniently located close to Routes 151 & 28, so it is easy to get to. You will be just a few minutes to downtown Falmouth - one of the best Main Streets in all of New England! And we are just minutes from Mashpee Commons and not two but three movie theaters, including the Falmouth Cinema Pub, where you can have waitress service to eat/drink during the movie!
The bedrooms are configured as follows:
BR 1 first floor: (A/C) King Bed
BR 2 first floor: Queen Bed
BR 3 2nd floor (AC): Queen & 2 Twins
BR 4 2nd floor (AC): Queen & futon (also cable TV with DVD player)
BONUS basement room: 2 twin beds - note that this bedroom is in the basement, and can have high humidity. We do have a dehumidifier going at all times, but it is important for you to realize this before your rental starts. Basements also tend to be much cooler than the main floors, so it is actually a pretty good bedroom! But in the past not everyone has been thrilled about a basement bedroom,
Ballymeade's back entrance is 1/4 mile away from the house.
WiFi available from June to Labor Day only.
GARAGE is not available to tenants who rent after September or before Memorial Day. For summer tenants, please note that we store some of our items in the garage.

Dennis bought this house in 2003. He enjoys traveling, boating, playing basketball and lacrosse, long distance biking, competing in triathlons & spending time with his family and friends.
Dennis is Vice-Chair of the Falmouth Zoning Board of Appeals, on the Board of JazzFest Falmouth (former Chairman), a regional Jazz Festival in Falmouth. He is a board member of Arts Falmouth, and also serves on the Government Affairs Committee of both the Cape Cod & Islands Board of Realtors, and the State Board of Realtors.
A 1992 graduate of Harvard University, Dennis owns 5 vacation rentals in Falmouth, and manages about 300 more through his company Donahue Real Estate on Main St in Falmouth.

It is such a great location, convenient to everything! Plus, you don't even need to leave the home, as the pool and the house are amazing.
The large open layout, the large spacious bedrooms, the gameroom, the nice deck, patio, grill and yard, and of course the pool! Many families and groups have rented my home and been very happy. I've configured the bedrooms to allow different groups to still find suitable sleeping arrangements, and with 4 TVs and plenty of space, families find that kids can go up/down stairs to watch a movie in the evenings and the adults can enjoy some uninterrupted adult conversation (and maybe a cocktail). I've heard time and again that the space of the house is really good!
