Charming log cabin overlooking Lake George. Perched on hill 100' from beach, with deck overlooking lake, this renovated cabin is located within a wooded, 70 acre private homeowners association. Private stairs lead down to common lawn area that has wooden swing-set/play gym, volleyball net and ping-pong table. There is also a sand pit abutting the beach, with a fire-ring for cranking up great fires on summer evenings under the stars. The private sandy beach has chairs and chaise lounges available for your use; the sandy bottom swimming area is roped-off, with a gently graduated depth to swimming raft. Cabin's Main Level features: pine floors & knotty pine walls; 2 prvt bedrooms; living & dining rooms; kitchen; full bath; and deck with Weber grill & picnic table that seats 8. Lower Level features tile & pine floors; knotty pine walls; 2 bedrooms (1 prvt MBR; 1 open BR off kitchen area); great room with cable DVR-TV-INTERNET and DVD/VCR; half-kitchen; full bath.

At the edge of the common-area lawn where it meets the beach is a sand pit with a fire ring in its center. We love to crank up a roaring fire in the evenings under the stars, making S'mores and watching the celestial fireworks. If you're lucky you might catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights! Located about one mile north of the Town of Bolton Landing, which is famous for the Sagamore Hotel and Golf Course, you have convenient access to the town's many shops, restaurants and marinas. Additionally, you are located a mere 15 minutes away from Lake George Village, with its abundance of shops, restaurants and arcades, including miniature golf and The Great Escape Amusement Park. Lake George is a 32 mile long, up to 2 mile wide, spring-fed wonder of nature, often referred to as 'The Queen of the American Lakes'. Located only one hour north of Albany via I-87, it is merely 3.5 hours north of New York City.

My family of 4 stayed here in July 2008 and had a wonderful time. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable with a lot of rustic charm. While we primarily used the main living area, the cabin is very roomy and good for either large or multiple families.

It is in a very convenient location in Bolton Landing with close access to restaurants, shops and boat rentals while still maintaining a feeling of privacy. The cabin was very well equipped with much attention to detail to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The view from the deck was beautiful and the community had a very nice beach & playgound area.

It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their cabin and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

My family and friends recently stayed at the cabin, August 13-20th, 2005.
We had the best time. The Schiffers
had everything to accomodate our needs.
They had a little bit of something for everyone. The rustic cabin theme throughout was beautiful. Their home is clean and neat, supplying everything for a wonderful vacation.
Their cabin is situated on beautiful Lake George, a gorgeous view to overlook from the cabins deck. The lake was fun for swimming, the kids loved the dock. Their home was comfortable for sleeping, plenty of room, plenty of activities....swimming, ping pong,swing play set, TV, movies, DVDs, BBQ-ing, late night bonfires by the lake. The Schiffers truly kept VACATION in mind when they rent out their cabin. I thank them for a wonderful time and look forward to next summer. The cabin set up is very private, especially vacationing with 2 families. Love the idea of private entrances for both parties, yet still able to be together on the huge deck for meals, games and watching the sunsets. Thanks again for a great time.

The cabin and surroundings were picture perfect. The decor was inviting, comfortable and just right for Adirondack ambience. There is a lovely beachfront, a great deck with grill, and ample living space - - in fact, we loved the separate living quarters on the lower level. It's nestled in a wooded area but other cabins spaced sufficiently apart so there is privacy without feeling like you're isolated, and it's a great family place. Bolton Landing, just down the road, had some very good restaurants, and there was lots to do there and in Lake George. You cannot beat the scenery or the lake water in August! The cabin exceeded all our expectations. It provided a great respite for the family, and friends who visited loved it and felt very warm and cozy.
