As one of the 88 units facing the Pacific Ocean, Kahana Reef/Unit 411 offers a unique fourth-floor/180-degree view, in the middle building of a three-building complex. We have been owners here for the last 30 years. This unit offers the most amazing panoramic views of Molokai and Lanai. From the comfort of your private top-floor suite, delight in many beautiful sunsets and rainbows and watch for the seasonal whales, spinner dolphins and sea turtles. You will see kayakers, canoe paddlers and kite surfers too. It is quite a show! Experience this little haven of quiet and tranquility -- lay by the pool, read under the shade of our large Milo trees, or just relax in the very comfortable chaise lounge on your lanai. Enjoy our well-situated location: In less than ten minutes away, you will find excellent, award-winning golf courses. At Kapalua, play the challenging Plantation Course, and/or attend the new Kapalua Golf Academy. Beautiful tennis courts, too, are located in Kapalua. We also have a number of beaches nearby. You can choose from Kaanapali, Kapalua and/or Napili. For some fine restaurants and shops, take a short walk over to the Kahana Gateway Center located just above us on the highway between Kaanapali and Kapalua. A short drive can also take you to several different shopping places in Kapalua, Napili, Kaanapali and Lahaina. With a longer excursion (30 minutes away), cruise the Shops at Wailea for your beautiful high-end purchases. Lahaina, the historical whaling village steeped with a colorful a historical past, is seven miles away. Truly, Kahana Reef is perfect for those who want access to all that Maui offers yet be located far enough away from the hustle-bustle to be able to enjoy a relaxing schedule of your own making. Our ocean-front condominium is just 35' from the water. It is a lovely, one-bedroom, one-bath apartment with a well-stocked kitchen. This means all your meals can be prepared at home, if you like. Share the gas barbeques located on the ground floor where you can enjoy the relaxed camaraderie of other friendly guests. Countless folks find they enjoy preparing meals here more than going out to eat every day. There is a dishwasher, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven and a blender. Enjoy the cards, games and small 'library' complete with a wide variety of books by various popular authors. We leave a curling iron and hair dryer as well as an ironing board and iron for your use. There are two color television sets for your viewing pleasure -- one in the living room and one in the bedroom. A DVD player and a personal safe are in the bedroom closet. Feel free to turn the sofa in the living room into a comfortable, queen-size bed. We provide all the linens as well as beach towels and chairs for two. Stay on-site and use the laundry facility complete with six new washers and dryers.
