Overview

Brooklyn Apartment Rental Photos and Description

Soulful style

Wallabout Loft II is a contemplative space, framed by rich-wood panels and coloured in muted hues. Beneath 25 foot ceilings there’s plenty of room to stretch out, and with yoga balls doubling as desk chairs and sofas draped with Indian throws, there are plenty of cool, cosy spots. Original features include tin mouldings and wide, warehouse windows, wood reclaimed from the old Brooklyn water towers, and the unusual bedrooms are set across two levels. Beyond the doorstep, there’s Williamsburg’s exciting arts scene to discover – the streets are lined with galleries and hip cafés. If wish to venture further, Manhattan is a quick subway ride away. Or for peaceful afternoons, you’ll find this home’s thoughtful yoga nook next to the master bedroom.

Good-natured

Your hosts have created an inspiring home to suit their diverse interests. A guitar and piano speak of their musical talents, while the single bedroom’s typographical art pays tribute to their beloved Pomeranian dog.

Breathe deep

Enter on the first floor and you’ll find the living room enlightening with wide windows, Japanese-style shutters and patterned fabrics. There’s a piano just beyond the soft corner sofa, while a floating staircase leads to the wood-panelled master bedroom. Here, the four-poster bed is canopied with patterned fabrics and internal windows overlook the lower level. The yoga room is next door, behind an unusual triangular door. Or venture down to the lower-ground level where the queen bedroom’s vermilion walls and velvet sofas are warming and inviting.

About Owner / Property Manager

onefinestay gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they're out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room. And there's service to match.

Nobody wants to be a tourist, so our homes come with recommendations from the people who live in them. For everything else, we're here 24/7.

Why Owner / Property Manager chose Brooklyn

Walking down Bedford Avenue, one might easily be confused at the legions of men with bushy moustaches, blousy shirts and suspenders holding up distressed denim. This is not a warp backwards into colonial past of the 19th Century, but just everyday reality in Williamsburg.

As the birthplace of the hipster movement, Williamsburg does more than live up to its irony-loaded reputation with its tattooed and bearded, beautiful residents. Its proximity to Manhattan has made it the most coveted address for entry-level Brooklyn living, which means that third wave coffee, hand-spun designer clothing and shredded kale salads for brunch are doled out in abundance to the young and trendy.

In recent years, the nexus has expanded to include Wythe Avenue, a previously empty, warehouse-lined avenue that is now home to the Brooklyn Flea every Saturday, and its foodie sister Smorgasburg on summer Sundays.

With its unobstructed views of the East River and Manhattan and access via ferry, Wythe Avenue has seen a flurry of new activity, including numerous high rise condominiums and the ‘burg’s newest night spot Output, an in-the-know European style dance club with a panoramic rooftop terrace to boot.

What makes this apartment unique

Booking a stay is as easy as booking a hotel room, with online payment and confirmation. You get the same attention to detail and personal service too.

Every home is properly cleaned before and after you stay, beds made (we can even do hospital corners) and bathrooms kitted out with luxury toiletries. There’s a maid service if you want it, as well as other hotel-style amenities.

Once we’ve helped you settle in, we’re just a call away, 24/7. If it’s something we can’t solve over the phone, we’ll pop over to lend a hand.

And because nobody wants to be a tourist, our homes come with personal and unique recommendations from the people who live in them – places to eat, things to do and adventures to go on.
