Huge authentic log cabin with modern conveniences. Sleeps 17, 2 full baths. Includes private and secluded 125 acres for hiking and exploring. Property has 3/8 mile of year round creek nestled in an Ozark valley setting for swimming and fishing. Ridge top location with huge covered porch with swing. Enjoy the mountain breezes while listening to the creek below. Build memories that will last a lifetime at Cave Creek Cabin. Adjacent to the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area and the Carver input on the Buffalo National River (nationally known for it's excellent canoeing and float trips). Our 1840's authentic dogtrot-style log cabin has a massive fireplace and is constructed with hand hewn logs. It was recently moved from Kentucky to this secluded spot and has been restored and modernized for vacation fun and enjoyment of the Ozark mountain country found in Newton County, Arkansas. The cabin is very large and cozy with full walkout basement. Spacious fully equipped kitchen.

Cabin is located a few miles from the Buffalo River National Park and is right next to the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area. The breathtaking view of Cave Creek and its beautiful limestone cliffs, make sitting or swinging on the porch a delight.There is a swimming hole with a sandy beach on the creek, or you can fish the stream for small mouth bass and perch. Hiking, cave exploring, mountain biking, four-wheeling and magnificent star gazing are available right on the property. The bird watching is great, and you may even be lucky enough to see a bald eagle at the right time of year. Newton County is the elk capital of AR, elk have been sited in the bottoms below the cabin perch. Sit down and rest awhile at Cave Creek. There is no cable, so please bring your favorite movies or watch some of ours. We've provided a variety of paperback books for those who like a good read. In cooler months, relax in front of the crackling fireplace (bring your own firewood) to restore your soul.

WOW! The cabin and property are better than the website photos. We brought DVDs but spent our TV time watching your classic movies. Great selection.

It was so quiet....the perfect place to wind down. The bluffs, visible from the front porch, are amazing. We drove down to the creek and spent several hours exploring the cliffs under the cabin.

The adjoining Gene Rush WMA is a great place to explore...with 4wd!

My family enjoyed several days & nights at the cabin and we will definetly be back. Next time, we'll bring the extended family as this cabin has pleanty of room for 12+. Thanks for the opportunity. Also, I was happy that even the backroads you have to take to get up to the cabin were on my GPS. We didn't have a problem getting there. Quit reading reviews and just book it!

What a beautiful place to visit! The weather was perfect, the view was gorgeous,the cabin was even better than we had hoped, and the kids loved playing in the creek. The only thing we hated was leaving!! One note- be careful driving down and up the road to the creek, we got a flat tire from a sharp rock, but all ended well and we had a great time.
