The sunny southern exposure allows for all-day sunshine. The location offers privacy, yet is 1 mile from the casinos, the Lake, & Heavenly Ski Resort. The convenience is wonderful! The amenities are everything you would expect in a private, luxury mountain home including dramatic views, gourmet kitchen, 3 fireplaces, large TVs, rich bedding, pool table, and 5 private decks. Open the hand-carved front door, and you’re greeted with a warm formal entry with polished terracotta tiled floor. Head down a few steps to enter a richly decorated living and dining area with vaulted ceilings, massive native stone fireplace, and a wall of windows leading to an astounding view.

There are views from every corner of the house especially from the sunset terrace. The feeling of privacy and seclusion is wonderful. Leave the family room, and walk down the hallway lined with Mexican wrought iron work. Straight ahead through French doors is the spacious Bedroom #1 with a king bed, rustic armoire, private terrace and window seat. Adjacent to this bedroom is a tiled half bath. Turning right, go down 6 steps to the mid-level large game room with two sets of bunks, large TV, couch and pool table. We consider this large dual-purpose space bedroom number two.

My group and i stayed here for a week 4/08.
This house is easily the best place I've ever stayed in Tahoe.

Beautifully furnished & great access to town & trails. It's equipped w/ everything you could want or need for cooking up an extraordinary feast. I highly recommend this property.

Very Nice House

I would describe this place as "Comfortable Luxury".

When we checked in we noticed right away it was nicer than described, very clean and well maintained. The pool table was actually level, the hot tub looked like the water was just changed, the kitchen was stocked with new high quality cookware complete with every spice I needed except onion powder (hint, hint).

Location is great, right between the casinos and the ski lifts, no stairs to climb from the garage like rentals further up the hill and they have garage door openers so we rarely used the front door.

Customer service was great, we really didn't want for anything.

Yes, we would recommend this property to a friend.

A Very Special Home

We absolutely loved this beautiful house and location! It had everything we were looking for -- close proximity to the ski mountain and downtown South Shore, easy access in and out of the house (our mother dosen't walk so well anymore), a hot tub, a nice deck with breathtaking views, and even washing machines! The kids loved the place too. Lots of fun on the off-ski day -- and we never left the house. We'll be back for sure.
