This was a wonderful little apartment in the heart of Paris, the apartment was clean and is pictured accurately. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery and sights all nearby. The owner was easy to work with and was there when we arrived to welcome us and give instructions on the flat. It has everything you need or could want, including WIFI and a computer. The only drawback was the bed was very, very firm and it came with extremely flat pillows, but the location and cute apartment outweighed this, but if I were staying longer I would have invested in pillows.
THIS APARTMENT WAS PERFECT! The location is perfect as it is nestled right by tons of shops, cafes, restaurants, markets, I could go on and on and on here. We received so many compliments and jealous remarks of our location from people we met, cab, drivers, and tour guides.
The apartment itself is great! There was more than enough space for my fiancee and I. The architecture with the stone walls and wood beams makes you feel that you have escaped to a countryside farmhouse. The bathroom seems to have been updated recently as all of the fixtures are nice and clean. One of the best parts was the lofted bed. It made the space so different and unique from the other places we have stayed before.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying here for so many reasons. Whenever we decide to take a trip back to Paris, this will be the place I will stay every time!
I stayed here with 3 teenage girls. We couldn't have chosen a better location and apartment. It had everything we needed and it was walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery store, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens and The Louvre. Fabrice was very helpful and we always felt safe. We would recommend this apartment and hope to rent it again someday. Having visited many areas in Paris, we were very happy that we stayed in Saint Germain.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary with a return trip to Paris and Fabrice's apartment was perfect for us. The pictures and description are 100% accurate and we used the VOIP phone to talk to our kids every day free of charge. Having a computer in the apartment was also very helpful for making dinner reservations and researching activities. I'd recommend Fat Tire Bike Tours near the Eiffel Tower. We also rented bikes at Giverny which gave us a unique perspective of the town. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Metro and even closer to the river. The St. Germain neighborhood is always bustling and the food/bar/cafe' choices are endless. If you can get into Frenchie's Restaurant go for it. It's in an odd neighborhood but is the #1 restaurant in town - fabulous experience. Fabrice was very responsive and even bought new speakers for the computer so we could listen to Spotify while we were there! Overall, a great value for where it's located. We'd stay hear again in a heartbeat.
We have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Fabrice's apartment. The photos and description of the apartment are very accurate and the location is fantastic. Fabrice was extremely helpful and responded to our queries in a timely manner. The apartment was very clean and welll maintained. Double glazing so street noice is not a problem. I would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Paris who want to be right in the middle of the action to really soak up the Parisian lifestyle. Highly recommended.
My husband and I stayed at this apartment in late August, 2011. It was everything Fabrice has described. Although it is very small, it was clean, well-equipped, and full of character (old stone walls, broad beam ceiling, etc.) The best thing about it is the location. The street itself is fairly small / quiet, but it is only a block from bustling cafes, bars, shops, etc. It is very close to multiple Metro stops, Pont Neuf, Notre Dame, grocery store, excellent food...
My only complaint is that the computer is very old and slow. I would recommend this property!
