All new bathrooms w/beadboard walls, cultured marble sinks, granite counters. New kitchen w/stainless steel appliances, convection/conventional oven, travertine marble tile. Reverse floor plan (bdrms 1st floor, living area 2nd), one acre private yard. Equal distance to Edgartown & South Beach (house on bike path). Professionally cleaned before & after each tenant. 300' private drive. Master bedroom w/bathroom & king size bed, sliding glass doors to private walk to huge patio w/deluxe furniture, walk in closet. Luxury linens for all rooms. Two other beautifully decorated bedrooms: twin beds in first, double, bunk bed and trundle in other. Second floor: open staircase to one large room with cathedral ceilings, almost 3 walls of windows, ceiling fans, 1/2 bath, L-shaped deck with new furniture, cable TVs (3), DVD players, 6-CD stereo, iPod docking station, children's games, eight bikes some w/child seats. Oversized outdoor shower w/mahogany walls w/bench. Credit Cards accepted.

Enjoy historic Edgartown for great shopping, dining (we provide restaurant guide), or stroll the harbor. Enjoy South Beach sun, sand or surf. Great fishing, sailing, tours (walking, historic, ghost, architectural, farms, lighthouses, bus, boat, biplane, etc., enjoy many public beaches, public conservation land with well marked trails (we provide maps). Some of the finest golf courses located here (open to public), putt putt, antiquing, horseback riding and more, more, more. We do the work - you enjoy the island

Thick towels and plenty of them. The pictures do not do the bathrooms - or any rooms - in this house justice! Gorgeous from top to bottom, inside and out!

Notes: Beautifully appointed. Exceptionally maintained with responsive on-island staff in case of emergency (we've had the same staff for years). Fantastic South Beach - Historic Edgartown central location. Close to everything, but so private with 300 foot long private drive, house sits in middle of one acre yard. Yard is bordered by mature trees, and flowering shrubs for seclusion. Better than new! You won't have to take turns using a single knife(we have at least 12 place settings) or have to do laundry every day to have enough towels. We are well equipped, and after years of enjoying the island ourselves and being long-time vacationers elsewhere, we have provided every amenity to make your time at our home feeling like your home - but better - you're on vacation on Martha's Vineyard! We provide details directions, maps, restaurant guides, charter fishing recommendations, tour guide recommendations. . .we've taken the guess work out of your planning so you can enjoy the Vineyard.

Dining room has a fireplace and seats 10. Living room is very comfortable with large TV, DVD, cable- opens onto large L-shaped deck and has a small bar, library and half bath behind barn siding wall. Surround sound CD system. Wide yellow pine floors throughout home. New bedding (2 sets for every bed), new towels (all baths) are provided. Home sits 1,400 feet back from Edgartown Harbor/Katama Bay.

My Vineyard Birthday Vacation

Living away from my grown children, I decided to turn my birthday into a vacation for all of us. I chose the Pignatiello house after looking online at many other houses. The house was in the perfect location for us--close to Edgartown and South Beach. The house was very clean upon our arrival which is important. There were plenty of towels and the beds were made up and ready for us. (The caretaker is readily available and a lovely, helpful person!) We used the bicycles to balance out the delicious meals my family made on the gorgeous gas grill and in the state of the art kitchen. There were a couple of issues (the internet was not working and the grill was out of gas) but the owner rectified these asap. The owner was very nice and easy to deal with and I am seriously thinking of renting this house again.
