The accommodation at the icon painter’s house has been specifically designed with traditional Greece in mind. Whilst each of the four studios has all the necessary modern appliances and comforts, including air conditioning, the design clearly recalls traditional Greek homes with clean white washed walls and little clutter. Each studio has its own terrace and there is a plunge pool in the shady courtyard for you to relax in after your day. Imagine the sun setting over the Taygetos Mountains as you sit surrounded by the scent of the lemon trees ….and you’re half way there. Each studio has its own outside sitting area, terrace or courtyard, where you can enjoy life al fresco. Inside the studios are well equipped with spacious kitchen and living area, air-conditioning, hot shower and TV. The villa is at the heart of the village – equally close to the beautiful Zaga beach to the west and the traditional waterfront cafés to the east.

Koroni is noted as 'one of the most picturesque fishing villages on Mainland Greece' by the Rough Guide, and one of the top 20 places to see in Greece. It is ideally situated for sightseeing in the Peloponnese or just chilling out in the charming village or lying on the extensive Zaga Beach. Nearby are historic sites including Ancient Messini, Nestor's Palace, Ancient Olympia and the venetian forts at Koroni and Methoni. For the more sporting are windsurfing at Zaga and Finikunda and hillwalking in the Taygetos, cycling and horse riding nearby.

This is an ideal location, near to everything and spotlessly clean. The pool in the courtyard is a delighful added bonus if it is too hot to go to the neach!

Le logement est très bien situé dans le village (sur les hauteurs), dans une petite rue très calme. Un petit parking se trouve juste à côté. Les commerces de proximité sont accessibles facilement à pied, de même que la plage. Le logement dispose d'une terrasse donnant sur la cour de la maison, ainsi que d'un petit balcon, donnant vue sur le port et la baie.'

It was just perfect. Koroni is a very nice place to stay, and the studio was comfortable, and has really all the necessary modern appliances.
Moreover, Michael and Maria are nice and really very kind. They give all information you need. It gives a very friendly atmosphere.
Michael and Maria provide all information on their website and provide very good customer service.
In brief, if I return to Koroni, I will rent the same studio.
