This remodeled cottage has all the amenities. Fully equipped kitchen, hardwood floors, open airy living room/dining room combination, 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, sleeps 4. Set back from the beach by a field of lupines that has been featured twice on the cover of Downeast Magazine. Ideally located between Camden & Bar Harbor (Acadia National Park). Explore the coast of Maine or just relax on the deck or beach.

A Great Month in a Perfect Location

We rented this cozy cottage for the month of September and had a wonderful time. It has a lovely view of the Penobscot through the trees. Although the kitchen is small, it is adequate. The cottage was clean and well-maintained with plenty of amenities. The location in Sandy Point is ideal. It is out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to reach the sites of Acadia, Bar Harbor, etc. easily. It should be noted that the main bedroom is small with just a double bed, so it is a little cozy.

We did run out of propane gas for the heat during our stay but the owners were extremely accessible. They reimbursed us for the electric heater we purchased to use until the tank could be refilled.

This location is not for anyone interested in lots of restaurants and nightlife. But, if you are looking to get away - it's perfect.
