Even though you may not want to leave your own little paradise, a 5 minute ride in one of the 3 powerboats brings you to all that the mainland has to offer. Fresh lobster on the Maine coast is a little over an hour away, historic Wolfeboro on Lake Winnipesaukee just 20 minutes, outlet shopping in North Conway, and trips to Mt. Washington, Storyland and more only a quick day trip. In less time than you spend commuting to work every morning you can get to golf, hiking and more antique shops than there are Starbucks in Seattle.
Picture a private hide-away with a high-hearthed, floor-to ceiling stone fireplace, full kitchen, screened porch, antique furniture and a sandy beach and shallow water for the kids, set in a reservoir quality lake and you just begin to get a sense of the experience awaiting you at Middle Island.
