Circa 1940 detached three bedroomed house, fully refurbished in 2001, set on the hillside of Mawgan Porth with unrivalled sea and coastal views from all rooms. The Pin is a superb destination for the discerning holidaymaker. Scenery along this stretch of coast line is spectacular with peaceful footpaths leading to the beach, Bedruthan Steps or west towards Newquay. The house is laid out with bedrooms and bathroom/wc and separate w/c on the lower level and lounge, kitchen and dining room on the upper level. All rooms allow guests to take advantage of far-reaching sea views. A three minute downhill walk will take you to the popular beach of Mawgan Porth. In addition, the house has a well maintained and largely lawned garden on a sloping aspect with paved terrace and a large decking area which is ideal for sunbathing or al fresco dining. There is parking space for two cars at the lower level and one small car at the upper level.

Mawgan Porth is a small Cornish village located adjacent to an award-winning beach with golden sands and rock pools. This beach is a superb surfing location and during the months of May through September has Life Guards on patrol. Mawgan Porth has cafe's, gift shop, a food store and two pubs who both serve excellent food. The traditional fishing port of Padstow, holiday town of Newquay and the amazing Eden Project are only a short drive away.

  • A 20% deposit is required with bookings and the balance is due 4 weeks before the departure date. In addition, a £100 damage deposit is required with the final payment, which is returnable. This deposit is only used for damages or if the house is left in a very dirty state. All linen is provided but you will need your own towels. Cleaning and linen change is undertaken on a weekly basis.

Bedroom 3 (4' double bed, open wardrobe and chest of drawers). Hall leading to separate wc and wc/bathroom with basin, bath and shower over.

Perched on the hillside in a stunning location with incredible views of the ocean from the decked area and the lounge. The house is comfortably equipped and felt like a real home from home.

Below the house is a fantastic beach, with great surf and rock pools which the children love.

A stroll away from a decent pub with great food.

We all loved this place and can't wait to return!!!
