Guestbook comments from the owner
As seems to be the concensus, we too love this house. It is a perfect location that combines serene, picturesque, Maine waterfront views, nature walks, quiet nights, and chirp-filled mornings with close by local conveniences such as Wal-Mart, Cumberland, Gurnet's lunch * lobsters, and so much more. This was the best location to stay in for my parents 1st trip and mine and my husbands 3rd trip to Maine!
While here, we took many day trips, including one to see Lenny, the Life-size Chocolate Moose in Scarborough, shopping on Main Street in Brunswick, walked around the shops in Portland, went to The Honey Exchange and Honey Maker Mead, walked th Giant Stairs (saw spent a whole day alone on 24 South!) went Land's End (the place & gift shop), the Island Candy Company, ate at Cook's and Gurnet's Lunch and Lobster (3 times) essential for Lobster rolls! Oh, and if you're Irish like my family, Bull Feeny's Restaurant in Portland is a must! It was always nice to come back here to Howard's Point and watch a sunset, take a walk, play a game with "The It Crowd" or just rest as a family and talk while listening to the radio and this beautiful house always allows this all to be possible.
Thank you sincerely for our little piece of paradise. This will always be the house I found out that I will become a Great Aunt to a little boy in. :)
