Welcome to this inviting and comfortable year-round home beautifully situated at the tip of a Peninsula on 18 acres of private wooded shorefront. All rooms except baths have water views - 3 bedrooms sleeps 6. Nearby guest cottage available for rent in tandem with this house - sleeps 4. Perfect arrangement for families of 2 and 3 generations or friends who enjoy vacationing together! Snug and spacious - 2 bedrooms upstairs - full bath, media area with TV/VCR/DVD, stereo, books and games. Very large, master bedroom - twin beds convert to king-size, fabulous view of water, guest room queen bed. First floor bedroom has fireplace, queen bed and full bath, laundry room - washer and dryer. Full kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker, toaster, cooking/dining utensils and phone. Living room has wood stove. Dining room seats 4-6.

Marina, public boat launch and kayak rentals nearby. Summer music and theater productions, cinemas, farmers' markets, museums, art galleries and antique shops at nearby Cook's Corner, historic Bath or Brunswick. Scenic Orr's and Bailey's Island and the Harpswell's are all in this area. Golf courses also near. Portland is a 45-minute drive, and Freeport with its many outlet stores is even closer. Beautiful Popham and Reid State Park beaches are in this area which is ideally situated for day trips up the coast or inland. Swimming on property, off old stone pier with large sandy top or from a safe weathered rocky point on a cove accessed by stairs. Property itself is excellent for walking, jogging, bird watching, fishing, boating, or just enjoying a natural environment.

Hang a hammock from 2 trees, picnic in a pine grove, sit on the rocks at the tip end of the peninsula and view some of the most magnificent sunsets you'll ever see. Enjoy kayaking, fish from the pier, paint views if you are a painter, play outdoor games with the family, sit by the fire at night with your favorite book.
