Very clean and well maintained cabin. Fantastic lake-front location and very private. Everything inside was up-to-date, they even have wifi - best of both worlds!!
Price was very good compared to other cottages that we looked into. Liked that there was an air conditioner for the hot summer days.
Very well maintained and well-kept property. It was the perfect size for a family of 5.
Lakefront setting was peaceful and serene.
Close enough to attractions in Shelburne and Burlington if you don't mind some driving.
We went to the pool at Button Bay state park almost every day. It's about a 10 minute drive. Close to the Basin Harbor Club and Lake Champlain Maritime Museum as well.
We felt the mattresses could use replacement, but it didn't detract from our experience at all.
Our kids loved our stay in Vermont and ask us constantly if we can go back.
Swimming, fishing. Short walk (5 minutes) to Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, Basin Harbor Club. 5 minute car ride to Button Bay State Park, 10 minutes to Vergennes (which has 2 excellent restaurants and antique shops). 20 minutes to Shelburne Museum and historic Middlebury and Morgan Horse Farm. Burlington with its wonderful
views of Lake Champlain, interesting shopping and many restaurants is just 30 minuter away. You can take a
ferry from Charlotte (15 min away) to the historic town of Essex N.Y. and view a number of 18th century homes.
