Newly remodeled furnished cottage on 5 acres within 75 ft of the ocean in a forest, plus one acre of blueberry barren! Secluded, quiet location on ocean bluff with beautiful ocean views. Two bedrooms, bath, full kitchen with a microwave oven, new stove and refrigerator. Large deck with chairs and table on water side. Satellite TV, VCR,DVD, radio. All utensils, cooking equipment, linens for 6, etc. Maps, sightseeing and travel information. Cleaning service and trash removal are included in the price, which has been reduced to $500 per week, see note in rate section.

Nearest Airport: Bar Harbor at 50 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Bar Harbor at 50 Miles
Nearest Motorway: US route 1 and Maine 187NE at 4 Miles
Nearest Beach: beach at 7.0 Miles
Car: necessary
Located on Masons Bay approximately 6 miles from Jonesport or US Rt 1. One hour to New Brunswick or to Ellsworth and Acadia National Park. One and half hours to Bangor with major airport. Good kayak and canoe area with convenient launch nearby. Unique sea tours to walk among the puffins and see whales or to hike, bike, play golf or swim in a local (warmer than the ocean) fresh water pond. Real down east location with plenty of lobsters for sale. Jonesport is a very friendly town not affected by the heavy tourist traffic found southwest of Acadia at peak seasons.

If the property is sold, the new owner may want to honor the rental contract or may choose to return the deposit, in the latter case the Realty agency will assist in finding another unit.

Hello,
The five of us stayed in the cottage - 2 adults and 3 15 year olds - for a week. This was the perfect place - comfortable, very clean, great deck, views of the Bay, and the Quiet of the forest.

The cottage proved to be the perfect spot for going to Rogues Bluff Beach, Jasper Beach, and lots of great Day Trips: Campobello, Canada, Island ferry rides and stopping in Jonesport for live Lobsters to cook at home - at lobster boat prices!

The cottage also provided a homey place for reading, jigsaw puzzles and even making moccasins for the kids.

We would love to return and make this a Family Tradition.

PS, the kitchen was just perfect to make breakfast and supper for us all.
