The property we stayed in was outstanding, studio #1012. The property had recently been redecorated and was beautiful and in good taste. Color schemes were soothing. The view was fantastic both the mountain and ocean. The amenities ie dishes, cooking utensils, Tv, etc. were sufficient and met our needs. The service provided by the Whaler staff was courteous and efficient. I would highly recommend this property.

We love the Whaler and all it has to offer. We visit twice a year and always enjoy our stays. The staff is fantastic and very friendly...it feels like home! We originally looked at this unit and decided on a studio instead. A list of all properties WRM manages was given to use upon inquiry of this unit.I would recommend the Whaler to anyone visiting the island however, I would NOT recommend Whaler Realty in Fairway Shopping Center!!!!!
Whalers Realty is not associated with the Whaler. When booking through VRBO, WRM manages several units and so we thought we would try them. NEVER again will I use them! The unit had a fantastic view because mostly all views at the Whaler are FANTASTIC, but unit 962 was dirty. The kitchen needed deep cleaning, the bathroom had mold in the tile area of the shower/tub. The ceiling fan was caked with dust and the bath towels smelled old.
I was willing to handle all of these things and clean myself to possibly use Whalers Realty again. BUT, when returning home I realized I left my new suit top in the room. I called WRM and was told the cleaning lady, and I use that term "cleaning lady" loosely, had my item. She was to return it to the Whaler and give it to the front desk. I had friends on the island after we departed that could pick the item up from the front desk.It has been two weeks and the item is still floating around the island on Aloha time with some cleaning lady that is probably wearing it as I type this! I have called WRM several times, emailed them several times and NOT ONE RETURN CALL OR EMAIL since my initial contact when they said, "YES, she has the item and will return it"! My friends are on the island for two more weeks and are now headed up to WRM to complain in person! As I said....we LOVE the Whaler but will never use WRM ever again! It's just the principle of the matter. Not to mistake Whalers Realty in Whaler Villiage, who is a delight to work with! Well Aloha and good luck! If you see a "cleaning lady" with a pretty blue, aqua, and black tankini top on....tell her how great she looks!
