A large, well furnished apartment with plenty of space just a few minutes south of Hyde Park and very close to the shopping and dining choices (and good travel connections) of Kensington High Street and its surroundings.

General

An exceptionally large second floor, three bedroom, three bathroom apartment in a converted period building with a lift. This is a non-smoking property.

Decor

Typical English styling with muted colours and some choice antique pieces.

Receptions

The double sitting room has high ceilings and loads of space lit by tall windows on the street side, with a dining table for six at the opposite end. The comfortable sofa (which can fold out to a double bed) and armchairs are grouped around the wide fireplace and the gas ‘log’ fire, and some antique side tables, interesting decorative pieces and paintings complete the picture.

Kitchen

The kitchen is well lit and well laid out with good work space, a breakfast table and efficient appliances - gas hob and electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Bedrooms

The expansive master bedroom has a super king-sized bed and large built-in cupboards, as well as some elegant Regency-style chairs and other antique pieces. Bedroom two has a double bed and the third bedroom has two very comfortable single beds plus the en-suite bathroom.

Bathrooms

The three bathrooms are spacious with stylish black and white marble tiling, wash basins, tubs with hand held or wall attached shower units, bidets and loos. One of them is en-suite with the twin bedroom.

We were really impressed with this apartment. We've been travelling UK for 4 weeks and have stayed in several self cater apts. The De Vere property was by far the best for many reasons; It was clean, spacious (fantastic living ratio to number of beds), quiet, appliances worked, clear instructions for rubbish etc, super location. By far the best property we stayed at in London and surrounds. Many thanks. Charlotte

An elegant residential area of period terraces and garden squares, a few minutes walk south of Hyde Park, a great green space and close enough for a brisk early jog or a leisurely evening stroll. A walk of less than 10 minutes takes you to the many attractions of the Kensington High Street and Church Street area. And in 15 you could walk to the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Natural History and Science Museums, and beyond them to the fashionista and gourmet paradise of Harrods and the exclusive shops, boutiques and restaurants of Knightsbridge. Buses and taxis are plentiful for access to the West End or farther afield, also for Heathrow.

Nearest tube: High Street Kensington, 5 minutes walk (Circle and District lines).
