If you are looking for a quiet body of water to relax, fish & do some swimming, then Haven House is just what you are looking for. 116' of private lakefront on Haven Lake with a large wooded yard. The house has a large comfortable fully equipped kitchen. The living room is 20' x 16' with a fireplace and sliding glass doors that open onto a deck overlooking the lake. There are two bedrooms and a small bunk room for the children. There is one bathroom and a sunroom. Outside, there is a stone fire ring, picnic tables, swing, gas grill, 2 docks and a rowboat included in the rental. The lake is canaled to four other lakes. A great place to boat from one area to another to fish, or just enjoy canoeing, or rowing around. Motor boats are welcome. Skiing and other water sport activities allowed on Sand Lake, (one of the 5 lakes canaled together). Two boat launches within 2 blocks of Haven House. No pets, no smoking inside the house. Smoking outside okay. Cleaning/security depost required.

Nearest Airport: Tri-city at 60 Miles
Car: necessary
Haven Lake in Harrison MI. Houghton-Higgins Lakes north about 20 minutes. Lots of shopping and good eating there. Gladwin is 14 miles East. Gladwin County Fair is July. Soaring Eagle Casino is 30 minutes South. Much shopping in Mt. Pleasant. Clare is 15 miles south with the Semi-Annual Amish Flea market and quilt auction in May and August. Old fashioned movie theater in Clare. Harrison hosts the Clare County Fair in July. Lots of state land nearby for hiking, trail riding, snowmobiling, etc. Tamaracks Golf, SnowSnake Ski & Golf, Devils Knob Golf & Firefly Golf all within 15 minutes. Great dining in Harrison.

We recently stayed at the cabin and my family had a great time. Small, quiet lake - very clean. The owner, Kevin is great to work with - very accomodating. The cabin is very big on the inside - you can tell that the owners put money into keeping this a nice place for families to spend their vacations. Thanks!

Wonderful people to work with! The house was clean and cute; and everything is there you need--just perfect for our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan on returning. We highly recommend this house, and would like to note that it is very family-friendly!

So relaxing

The house is awesome and the water is perfect. We had so much fun we didn't even feel the need to go anywhere. Having the basketball hoop set up on the concrete drive was perfect for our 16 year old son. We'll be back too.

This house is the perfect get away retreat! The house was extremely clean and everything was well kept. Anna & Kevin were awesome to work with on this property. I would definetly recommend this vacation spot!! I know we'll be headed back!
