Great rental for small groups

I stayed in the cabin for 3 nights as part of a group of 10, including 3 children. The house is a little older, but is clean, well maintained, and has the northern Michigan charm. The description on the website is accurate. The wooded lot is private and the location on the lake is great, is connected to other lakes and allows for fun trips on the pontoon, is great for swimming (the water was clean), and seems to have a lot of fish, which made yummy dinner. The sandy beach area was great and safe for kids to play in (the water was very shallow by the beach area). Having a washer and dryer was very convenient with keeping our towels clean and dry. The house is actually a lot larger inside than what it appears to be in the picture. The kitchen has a great island with plenty of space for food prep and has all kitchen necessities in it. The only problem with the house that we ran into was having 1 bathroom for 10 people, especially in the morning when everyone was getting up, however, it was accurately reflected in the description of the house. The house and the outdoors have plenty of space for a group of 10 to be together. Kevin, the owner, was very nice and accommodating and made the booking process very smooth. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend or relative. As far as nearby attractions, the city center is about 10 minutes away, and if you like kayaking on the river, you can rent them about 20 minutes away. I hope to go back to this rental next year.
