Whether you like to ski, swim, golf, snowmobile, shop, dine, fish, ice skate, or just relax. Our well-appointed vacation home is for you! It is located in Chimney Hill, a private, family friendly, four season resort community located in Wilmington Vermont. An ideal location in Southern Vermont - just 10 minutes from skiing at Mt Snow and 5-10 Minutes from two great golf courses and two great lakes with beaches, fishing and boating. A snowmobilers dream come true! The well-stocked, updated home with new furniture & appliances sleeps up to 12 in 3 bedrooms plus large loft. Two full baths, large family room with fireplace, new floors and cathedral ceiling, fully stocked kitchen, full heated basement with darts, billiards/ping pong table and TV. House has total of 4 satellite TVs, and XM satellite radio/CD A/V surround system, as well as free wireless internet access. Large deck with barbeque and a level yard, babbling brook and private woods. Washer and Dryer in home

The home is very private and quiet, yet located close enough to walk to the clubhouse across the street, where our guests have full access to all resort amenities including indoor and outdoor heated pools, hot tub, saunas, game room, free wireless internet, theater, lighted tennis courts, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts. Stocked trout pond, ice skating w/warming hut, maintained trail system (vast in winter), hiking, skiing, and biking trails and more are walking distance away! Plenty of movies, and games in the house.

Two bedrooms with queens and Sat.TV's, one bedroom with bunk beds and queen, loft with queen and twin Heated basement with sleeper sofas. Wireless internet in home. Discounted lift tickets available.

Go fishing, boating or beaching on Lake Whittingham (less than 1 mi.) or Lake Raponda, play golf on 2 nearby golf courses, snowmobile, horseback and ATV rides nearby, ski at Stratton or Mt. Snow (where they have the best ski school and daycare programs around, shop and dine in historic Wilmington (1 mi.), Bennington or Manchester (both about 20 miles). Swim in the pool or use the hot tub across the street in the clubhouse. Free wireless internet there too.

Family Weekend

Extended-family stay for MLK weekend--from 1yo to 50+. House was wonderful. Lots of room including spacious basement. The location was perfect right across from the clubhouse--could leave extra cars there as well as a quick walk to enjoy the amenities. The kitchen was well appointed with all the supplies needed. Living room couch super comfy (I'm trying to buy one for my own house!). Big TV--great place to watch a game. Huge deck--didn't get to enjoy since it was 5 degrees! Chimney Hill is an excellent location for those who want to downhill ski or XC or skate on the pond--should have at least 1 car with 4WD--although this location on the "main" road has better access than most. We had a great time! Thanks Dave!!!

Perfect for our group!

We stayed at Dave's house in Chimney Hill in early Feb. with my sister and her family and my parents (11 total) and the house was perfect for our group. Loved the open living room and it was larger than it looked in the pictures. Kids had a lot of fun in the basement playing pool and ping pong, and of course, the pool across the street was great after a day of skiing!

The driveway did get very icy and I almost got stuck twice, could use more salt but we made it out! We plan to go back next year...thanks Dave!!

The house was larger than I thought...Dave the owner was very helpfull. Our extended famliy had enough space to spread out yet be close to each other. The back way to mt. snow was very fast!
The hills to the house were steep but maintained well. It was great to be across the street from the club house. This house had it all!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Thank you for a great stay! Your home is lovely. Very comfortable and you can't beat all the amenities!

The kids spent hours in the playroom playing pool, ping pond and darts, while we relaxed and gazed at the star (wow, we've never seen so many stars!) on your great deck.

We also love being able to walk over to go swimming and play tennis.

Best house we've ever rented..We'll be back many times for sure....Summer and Winter!
