Two bedrooms, large cathedral ceiling living room, updated kitchen and bath. Two bedrooms with three comfortable queen sized beds. Large screened-in porch overlooking the bay. TV for playing DVD's or VHS..... Perfect for summer swimming, dining and relaxing. Great for the soul. Comfortable, modern and clean. We have many return guests so don't wait. In-town gourmet dining or down home treats...we have it all.

Correction on Map...... Old Ferry Road is a DEAD END... it does not hook up with Bayberry Lane.
About Christine Snow

I have spent all my summers at this cottage with my family and I have a very high standard for its up keep and improvements. Experiences and memories have been made by three generations. I live in MA with my husband and two children. My children played on the same rocks and found crabs and swam until their lips were blue, just as I did and my father before me and his father before him.

Snow Cottage Retreat

If you are seeking serenity, privacy, peace and quiet, you need to check ouy this getaway. Lupines greeted us along the driveway to the cottage, peonies are about to bloom, lilac trees were already over. The Atlantic Ocean is right outside your door. Green sea glass, shells, sea birds, all at your fingertip. Our favorite place was 3 minutes from the cottage, THE LOBSTER POUND! We made lobster 4 times in our own kitchen (everything u need for making your dinners are provided). Gas fireplace was invaluable due to heavy storms & cool weather. Port Clyde is close by-great German restaurant, Rockport & Camden are only 15 minutes away, great places to visit. Sailboats run out of Camden Harbor, but the Gods were not with us for the weather. The history of the cottage was fasinating! Generations of Snows have lived there. Books concerning the history are at the cottage. Screened porch was great shelter from rain & nighttime bugs that seek your blood-lol. Antiques in Cottage were wonderful history of the folks who inhabited this get-away. Maine charm, that's what it's all about! And Peace away from the hustle & bustle of towns and traffic, but convenient to stores & Dining.

Just spent our second summer. Great experience!

My mom and I have really enjoyed our week-long stays at Chris' cottage the last two summers. The place has everything you need for a comfortable respite away from it all. We could hang out on the lawn or walk a few steps further to our own beach (some terrific sea glass finds). The screened-in porch was a favorite spot to hang out & it has gas fireplace for chilly evenings too. When we wanted to head into town, Rockland is just a few miles up the road and Camden just north of that. Plenty of great places to eat and shopping/cututral things to do as well. Took a few easy 1/2 day trips down to Port Clyde (Marshall Point Lighthouse) & over to Pemaquid Point and Boothbay Harbor. It's just a great spot and is recommended without reservation!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

We love it so much we rent it out ourselves. We just want to rent it out to people who will take care of it as if it were their own. One floor living on the water. Cottage insulated on the outside...inside you can still see the strud construction. The main 'great room' was orginally a 1940' Sears garage kit... you won't believe your eyes!
