Romantic secluded waterfront cottage on quiet cove. Perfect for 2. Spacious open plan living room/bedroom/kitchen, full bath, washer/dryer. Large deck to view beautiful sunsets overlooking the ocean. There is no internet or TV. WIFI is available at the Somesville library, about 10 minutes away, and numerous places in Bar Harbor, about 20 minutes away. September and October are very lovely and quieter than the summer months, and the temperature is still quite comfortable.

Location: Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island < Maine < USA

Loons, osprey and seals abound, along with the occasional bald eagle. 20 minutes to Bar Harbor's restaurants and shopping and Acadia National Park's spectacular hiking and carriage trails. Canoe, kayak, and bike rentals nearby.
