Discounts for longer stays.This reverse living, ocean front 5 bedroom beach house overlooking dunes and one of the widest beaches on the east coast is located in the quiet northern residential section of Long Beach Island 13 blocks from 'Old Barney' Lighthouse and Barnegat Inlet. The four decks provide different views of the surrounding area. The top deck looks over the town of Barnegat Light, the lighthouse, and the setting sun. The second-floor front deck overlooks 'the moors' and ocean and Barnegat Inlet with it's busy boat traffic. The second floor - a living room, master bedroom, master bath with shower, powder room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room faces the ocean and has two large sliding glass doors to the rap-around upper front deck.The Master bedroom (a queen-size bed) has door opening onto the front deck,ideal for listening to the surf while falling asleep. The dining area seats 10 and the counter 3.

This AIR CONDITIONED house is ideal for those that want to avoid the hustle and bustle of ' summer at the shore' but close enough to the other (or commercial) end of the island. It is a home for a rest and relaxation, sun bathing on a wide, white, sandy beach and swimming in safe guarded waters. For the more adventuresome, one can climb the lighthouse for it's great views of the northern tip of the island, visit the local state park with it's concrete walkway out into the ocean. the various antique stores. For the restless, there are movies, stage theater, many bars and disco's as well as a multitude of night life in the southern portion of the island. There are even rides for the kids at Fantasy Island.

The overhead lights have dimmers adjusting lights to the outside environment. The first floor has 3 bedrooms and a family room encased in windows with 2 sliding glass doors to the lower deck. There is a full bath with shower, and washer and dryer. The family room can sleep 4,is ideal for children and grandchildren for late TV viewing. There are large ceiling fans in each room. A boardwalk through the dunes gives beach access. And there is a roof deck with beautiful views of the sunrise over the ocean and sunset over the bay...not for small children,however..
