Tranquil family vacation

Our family of six loved this home! Clean, impeccably decorated but comfortable, with all the amenties you would need. Great East Beach property with beautiful marsh views and an easy walk to the beach (though I have to say if was more like seven or eight minutes down the path). The beach was amazing and our kids had loads of fun digging sand castles, catching hermit crabs, and collecting shells. We will definitely return to St. Simons again!
Owner's Response: As you walk towards the beach from our home, you walk past 8 houses down our very tranquil street. At the end of our street are sand dunes. Your walk to the ocean through the dunes takes you through young live oaks, pine trees and sea oats and feels a lot like a walk on an uninhabited barrier island. This path is marked as public beach access, but is mainly used by home owners and their guests (that is you). From the front door of our home we can ride a bicycle to the beginning of the dunes in one minute. We are able to walk from our front door to the beginning of the dunes in 3 to 4 minutes. In an effort to assist you on your stroll to the beach, we provide you with a beach buggy, which is a large bicycle tired Rubbermaid wheelbarrow. This gives you a vehicle in which to put your coolers and chairs. There are also several adult and child bicycles available at the house for your enjoyment.
