Our Little Secret....

I am hesitant to write a review. Not because the house or location was anything but perfect, but because I don't want to let the secret out about this place. My wife, two kids (3 & 5), mother and mothers best friend recently spent a perfect week at his house in Hanalei. The house and its location were nothing short of perfect. Just a minute walk to the beach. Quiet (as least as quiet as it can be considering it sounds like your sleeping in a aviary when the birds start singing in the morning). The house and kitchen were well equip and the furniture was very high quality.
One of the nicest features of the house was the screened in lanai. This single feature allowed us to keep the doors and window open at our discretion which was welcomed considering the weather and fresh ocean breeze. The screens also allowed us to sit outside around a wonderful table for all of our meals and post meal relaxation which would have probably not been possible considering the number of bugs that would have otherwise been attracted by the lights.
This area of Kauai is truly magical and this house is of equal or greater merit. Our family left very reluctantly and will hope to return again in the future...so long as our secret does not get out.
