Relaxing Family Getaway

My wife, myself and our 6 year old son enjoyed the two week vacation this Ocober on the sunny Cote d'Azur thanks to the great weather, warm sea, beautiful scenery and a lot of nice places to visit around Beaulieu. And of course it was also thanks to the nice, airy and very convenient accommodation we had in the villa Spirita. It is spacious enough for 3 or 4 people, and it has all modern conveniences one may need. My wife in particular enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and one of the balconies with the romantic view over the sea where we could have our morning cofee and a glass of wine in the evening. As for myself, I appreciated that I could stay wired and not lose contact with my office using the unlimited internet access available in the appartment.
The appartment is very conveniently located. It is quiet enough since it is away from the main streets of the town, and still within just five minutes walk from the train and bus station as well as the main shopping area. The beaches and the marina are also pretty close.
I'd note just a couple of things that could be improved: the first thing is the Satellite TV - the signal was not very steady and good quality, and also not very easy to operate due to the tricky layout of the TV facilities (the decoder and the main TV set are located in different rooms). And another small issue was the fact that there was only one key available. It is not very convenient if you and your relatives/friends have different agendas during the day.
In all other respects the accommodation is great and very good value for money.

Owner's Response: We are still working on the TV connection problem. The TV signal is stong at one end of the villa but can suffer interference at the other. For that reason we have provided a TV with integrated DVD in that room. We continue to try to find a solution - but want to try to avoid the need for a second satellite dish on the roof, which so far has been the only solution we have been offered. Two sets of keys now available for all! Please keep the reviews coming! They're very helpful.
