Fabulous, fun and functional!! This is an affordably priced, large vacation home located in the Pass-a-Grille community of St. Pete Beach. As Tampa natives, we have lovingly outfitted this, our second home, with all the amenities to cater to renters. The home is 1 1/2 blocks from the glorious Don Cesar Hotel and a 2-block walk to semi-private beach access (no local crowds ever!) We provide local parking passes, maps, menus, and more. This very comfortable home on a double lot, includes a heated outdoor hot tub inside a screened-in lanai, beautiful fenced pool in a tropical setting, 2 gas grills, 4 TVs with digital cable - 2 with DVD/VCR combos, high speed internet access, and actual beds that can sleep 14! Smoking allowed outdoors around the lanai and pool area.

Enjoy the white sandy beaches of St. Pete Beach year round! (Avg. Jan. temp: 72F). As Don Cesar Plat owners, we have semi-private beach access between 22nd and 37th Avenues. The house is 1-2 miles from 4 different golf courses, 1 block from beautiful Lazarillo park - brand new kid play place and 4 public tennis courts. 2 blocks from the public boat dock behind the Don (and you can park a small to mid-size boat on trailer in driveway or garage!) Home is 5 minutes from major interstate access - gets you to downtown St.Pete or Tampa, Sarasota or Bradenton, 20-25 minutes from Tampa International Airport. Major Attractions - Busch Gardens: 45 minutes, Disney: 1 1/2 hours. Check out the pictures!!

This house was exactly what was promised and more! The layout was perfect for our needs -- with two separate wings we were able to divide our group so that everyone had the privacy, and the companionship, of those they wanted to be with. Some rooms include a private "area" where a child or single could stay and others would be perfect for cousins or young couples.

Every care was taken to make sure the house was stocked with everything we needed for our stay -- tons of sheets, towels and recreational supplies. The pool and hot tub were immaculately clean. The owner was very responsive and accommodating and even called the day of our arrival to let us know we could enter the house early.

With access to a washer and dryer, we arrived home relaxed, and without the laundry that usually accompanies several days of travel. The house is an easy walk to the beach, I walked down to the beach several mornings to watch the sun rise and enjoy the peace and quiet.

The owner even provides a binder of menus, attractions, and directions for visitors who need it.

Our group was a late 20's wedding party, but I would recommend this house to any group or family traveling to the area!

Fantastic Family House!!

My family and I had a fantastic time during our two week stay - the house is brilliant with loads of room. We (my husband, 17 month old daughter, and my parents) felt at home right away and Karen was so helpful, right from booking the property to our coming home date! Its 5 minutes from the best beach that was always empty and the pool and outside areas are great. The house itself has two wings so my everyone had privacy but also a huge family room that was perfect for chilling out in at night! We're thinking about when to go back!!

We recently enjoyed Spring Break with another family at Sea Joy. We had a wonderful time and hope to return next year. Everything was just right and there were 9 of us! Karen is super in every way.

When I first saw pictures of the house on the internet, I thought that it will be perfect for our group of 14 friends to spend New Year’s Eve together. Once we arrived I immediately realized that the house was so much more beautiful and bigger than I expected, the pictures simply did not do it justice. We had such a wonderful time that a day after leaving we are already making plans to return...

My family and friends rented both Sea Joy I and Sea Joy II for my wedding weekend. Other rentors have already written at length about the houses. We can only confirm what they have already said: beautifully kept, most every amenity imaginable, spacious, more sleeping accomodations than you'd think possible.
Just as important to the houses though is the person who we've dealt with before, during and after staying here: Karen. It needs to be clearly stated that she is more caring than any single person you'd find in a 5-star hotel, her attention to detail is remarkable, and her follow-through impeccable. Karen will make sure you have a good stay.
I don't usually invite people to email me, but please do in this case should you have any questions about these locations. Karen has been good to us and we want to reciprocate her efforts.
