A wonderful vacation spot

This is a wonderful vacation spot! The cottage itself was perfect, had everything we could possibly have needed and was extremely clean and totally private. The location is fantastic - at the end of a dead end road, just feet from the water. The lake is incredibly quiet and undeveloped (the bottom is rocky, so bring flip flops!). We only saw an occasional canoe or kayak, no motors.
There's a small yard with several adirondack chairs, a picnic table, hammock, and a grill in the back. The owners live next door and are very pleasant and completely unintrusive. There are enough trees between the cottage and their house that you barely know it's there.
We brought road bikes and even though the cottage is at the end of a dirt road about 1/2 mile from the main road, we had no trouble riding over the dirt with skinny tires.
It's an easy trip from the cottage to Belfast, Camden or Rockport for plenty of restaurants, shopping, etc.
I'm looking forward to going back again next year!
