Occasionally, though rarely, it is quite possible in New York City to travel through space and time simply by walking through a doorway. This is one of the great features of New York architecture and interior design - taking precious, unique space as canvas and presenting it as none other, among the millions of homes in Gotham.
This exceptional property is one such space. For 30 years, this loft has been the sanctuary, studio and home of an exceptionally talented artist, photographer, collector and documentary historian. The story of those years in this space is everywhere - visible in furnishings, art and sculpture but perhaps more by an unmistakable feeling that takes hold the moment you enter. Its a feeling of light, joy and stark contrasts - from the urban jungle punctuated by viewing Bleecker and Bowery streets below, teeming with the ultra-hip scurrying to 'the next big thing', as seen from what could easily pass as a great room of a leading art and design museum.

Great place to wind down after a nice day in the city
full kitchen a chefs dream
This spacious, bright and open space is the perfect, cultured base from which to explore the best of what downtown New York City has to offer.
Just within the block: guests can take tea (or Caipirinhas) around the corner at the swish Bowery Hotel or relive the glory of the landmark CBGB's - now the global flagship store of John Varvatos. Walk a couple of blocks further...and you are in the heart of SoHo, Greenwich Village or the Lower East Side, depending on which direction you decide to go.
Home is shoe and smoke free at all times.
NoLita is one of the coolest, trendiest neighborhoods in all of Manhattan. And this is without a doubt one of the most interesting and comfortable, best located spaces I have seen in NoLita.
