NEW FOR 2009!! New living room furniture (late 2008) in main living room. New carpet and tile flooring throughout midlevel foyer and rec room!! New washer and dryer plus some new appliances. Municipal water system provides perfect water to the house. Our house is a perfectly maintained and secluded beach house 250 yds from a private beach with no roads to cross. TV with extended cable plus VCR or DVD player in every room and a 57 inch Big Screen TV in the third floor living room. Sleeps 20 in beds. New kids beds,TWO kitchens. Pool table, Foosball, air hockey, and ping pong. Huge decks, private in ground 16 x 32 pool and built in 8x8 foot 2 feet deep Kiddie Pool, TWO hot tubs. Basketball rim, large wooden swing set for the kids. New landscaping and new double wide park style charcoal grill. Target date for 2009 upgrades is May 1. NEW INTERNET SERVICE beginning May 1 2009

The free private WHALEHEAD BEACH is just 250 yards from our house. Historic areas everywhere. State aquarium, Cape Hatteress Lighthouse, Jockeys Ridge National Park, hang gliding and scuba diving. Drive along the narrow ocean front road on Pea Island National Sea Shore and see a restored 18th century Life Saving Station where re-enactments are held on selected days. Surf Fish right off the beach. Take the new jet boat dolphin watch tour that runs out of the fishing village of Manteo. Or just relax!

    Pets welcome for extra fee. House rents all year round Saturday to Saturday. Mini weeks and single days (minimum three nights) available between off season.

    $500 refundable security deposit or credit card deposit of $45.00.
    2010 rates include all Linens for all beds between June 5 and Sept 10 2010. Linens can be provided the rest of the year for a small fee.

Ground floor has easy non ramp access for wheelchairs. Both pools have step entry, no ladders. Pets are welcome (small extra fee). Off street parking for 8 cars, 4 under roof. Two hot tubs. Two high chairs and a port a crib. Can seat 22 at a time to eat in main dining area. New dishwasher in main kitchen. One of the first houses in Whalehead to be connected to the NEW Currituck County Municipal Water System providing perfect water!! New double wide park style charcoal grill out side. New landscaping. New washer and dryer (late 2008) added to house. New surround sound stereo system in third level living room.

Best value on the Banks!!: This house offers one of the best values on the Northern Outer Banks. Our house is geared towards a rewarding family or friends vacation experience. Located in the laid back Whalehead beach area we are only 250 yards from the beach. There are no highways to cross and there is a new beach access to the private beach. There is NO public beach access at our location. One must either rent or own property to use the beach in this area!! The house is in a quiet secluded area of the OBX yet close to all that the OBX has to offer. With continuous upgrades, new water system, state of the art electronics and a wide variety of activities, Lighthouse View Beach House is one of the best values on the beach. The island is only a 1/4 mile wide from ocean to sound at our location. Book today as we have had full rentals from May to September for the past 6 years. We make continuous upgrades every year to give are guests the best value for the money.
