Seasons is THE trailside walk-on/ski-off condo village. This is the best location at Mt Snow, at the foot of the Seasons lift, near the Sundance baselodge, right next to the Seasons Sports Center! Outside this newly updated 2nd floor unit is a private ski locker for your equipment. Inside, a spacious open-plan accommodation for 6 people including a fully equipped kitchen. Eat at the breakfast bar or in the formal dining room. Enjoy cable on the new flat screen TV, VCR, DVD and stereo. Relax by a cozy fire in the fieldstone fireplace - free firewood is provided close by. The master bedroom features a king size bed, TV with cable, DVD and private bath. A second full bath serves the twin bedroom (also with TV/cable) and the queen size pullout sofa in the living room. Unit has a washer/dryer and free local phone calls.
In the next building is the amazing Sports Center with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, hot tub, internet, sauna, exercise room, ping-pong, & foosball
Slopeside!: In winter, you're a 2 minute walk from the first Mount Snow lift. No waiting for a ride, for the rest of your group to get ready, or for an elusive shuttle! You'll be so close you can come and go as you please! Ski home to warm up and eat a hearty lunch in your own condo, and be back to the slopes in a jiffy for the afternoon. In the evening, you and your family may enjoy a game of ping pong before relaxing in the hot tub, sauna, and indoor pool at the fabulous Seasons Amenities Center right next door to your building (small use fee). In summer, the Amenities Center has a heated outdoor pool and tennis with free equipment loan. Or perhaps you'd rather pop in a DVD and curl up in front of a blazing fire in your own very impressive fieldstone fireplace. You'll also find an excellent selection of intact (!) family games right in your condo.
However you decide to spend your time, you're guaranteed to enjoy your stay!
Other Fun Activities: Enjoy beautiful mountain views at the 18-hole championship Mount Snow Golf course. Nearby Lake Whittingham offers canoe and kayak rentals and a scenic cruise.
We've long enjoyed a visit to the nearby Adams Family Farm including a daytime or evening sleigh ride (hayride in the fall) to a lovely cottage in the woods where steaming hot cocoa is served and someone always takes on the challenge of playing the working player piano. The Farm includes an extensive petting zoo for the kiddies and a shop with charming Vermont products.
The town of West Dover offers many excellent restaurants, several video stores, and a cinema showing 3 or 4 first-run movies at all times. Fifteen minutes away is Wilmington, a classic Vermont town with churches, shops selling Vermont crafts and antiques, additional fine and family restaurants, as well as a Shaws supermarket and the TrueValue 'hardware' store which is really a general store.
Newly Updated Second Floor Unit: Unlike many Seasons on Mount Snow condo units for rent, this one is five steps up from ground level rather than partly underground. This means bigger windows, lots of light, and a spacious feel.
The unit was completely repainted, carpeted, and wallpapered in 2008. Bathrooms, window treatments, and bedding were just updated in 2006 or 2007!
Linens are included with all rentals and the unit contains an abundance of extra pillows and blankets, in addition to the new comforters and shams on the beds.
